Devil's Advocate is for sure last.

I enjoyed Carlito's Way the most, Donnie Brasco not too far behind.

Donnie Brasco to me is in higher tier than both of the other two.

Carlito's Way is probably objectively a better movie than The Devil's Advocate, but the The Devil's Advocate is an easier and more fun watch.

Donnie Brasco has to be 1, yeah, surprised people see Carlitos Way as clearly better than Devils Advocate though. That movie seemed boring to me for quite a while.

I watched all 3 recently and Donnie didn't hit like it used to. Carlito's Way is a movie I will always thoroughly enjoy. So many classic quotes and wild scenes. Devil's Advocate is much different but again, classic weirdo Pacino doing Pacino things.

Donnie is great but maybe I seen it too many times back in the day.

The Devil's Advocate

Same here. Carlito’s Way is Pacino’s best role behind The Godfather.

Pacino shows more range on Donnie Brasco, in his most famous role, The Godfather where he is a cool and calculated mob boss, in Donnie Brasco he plays a disrespected foot soldier. I love Carlito's Way BTW, I just think DB is a better film overall.

You know what, you're right. I think I enjoyed Carlito's Way more than I did Donnie Brasco and that's why I felt it was Pacino's better role. And I made a thread a few months back where I thought Donnie Brasco was better than Goodfellas in my opinion, so I hold Donnie Brasco up there in high regard when it comes to mob movies. But thinking back, Pacino did show extreme range as Lefty.

Fast forward to 3:00 for some comedic excellence in this movie :lol

Great clip, Lefty's character played by Pacino was a bit of a goofball :lol Like the total opposite of Michael Corleone who was always serious and playing 3D chess while everyone was playing checkers...two totally different personalities.
