...is not on national TV. Instead ESPN is featuring a full slate of college basketball and NBATV is featuring a riveting contest between the Portland-leading Portland Trailblazers and"B-Ball Paul," the most accidentally famous center in the league. I do like Reed, hope I didn't just misspell his name. Feel free to fill this non-game thread with riveting discussions about how many more games Embiid can miss before we slap an asterisk on the MVP trophy and a deep pondering of the philosophical question, "who did the Celtics trade to get Jrue Holiday?"

Issa poor thing that they aren't broadcasting a matchup on some of the recent title teams rt. Goes to show what they think of denver, i guess. But could it have something to do with doc rivers too?

People like you and I that watch the game for the coaches are fairly rare. Casuals don't appreciate the correct angle on a raised eyebrow or a well-timed technical foul.

Even I was thinking about skipping the Trailblazers game tonight but I was actually genuinely intrigued to see how Bball Paul was going to back it up after last game. The Beverley/Reed pick and roll is something to behold, maybe not OP's thing but each to our own.

Definitely going to switch over to the Nuggets game in the 4th if it is going to be a close finish tho.

Jokic has a terrible shooting night but he has a triple double and plays with passion as does the whole team. Even if they lose this game this is the way they should play. It's a good effort.

He seems off today, yet his team is still holding on to a decent lead. Then again, doc is also now coaching the bucks...

Is it safe to assume you're a Jokic stan?

His shooting is off, everything else is great. He has 12 assists but it should be like 15. He is rebounding and running the floor. 15 rebounds as well.

Pretty safe bet, yes. Have been rooting for him for 6 years now. I happen to like his competition too though.
