View Full Version : Lebron and Davis ruled out tonight against Boston.

This is getting a little ridiculous already. Fans that pay good money to attend a game expecting both teams to have all their star players available to than find out game day that won't be the case. I know this will never happened but in cases like this, they should allow ticket owners to have the option on getting a refund or rain check for another game.

It isn't good but in this case the Celtics fans will largely be happy if the Celtics win regardless of who the Lakers send out there, so the night can be salvaged.

Ratings with the national TV audience on the other hand could be a problem.

Are star player is getting more injured these days than in the past or does it just feel that way

Duffy Pratt

Injury report says “peroneal tendinopathy.” Typical recovery time for this without surgery is about a month. Continuing to play would, with most people, only exacerbate the injury. So it looks bleak, unless the report is an exaggeration, but no team would do that, would they?

Or maybe he decided to sit out because the Celtics were gonna kill them anyways without AD?

With the league imposing rules around load management, stars are now sitting out games because they are ‘injured.’

I just got Home and turned on TNT just to see who was playing. Guess I’ll go ahead and turn the cable box back off. At this point it only comes on for a few sporting events. And the nba is totally unreliable. Just a worse product. And people genuinely think I’m just being nostalgic when I say it’s a worse product. You can barely even get excited about a matchup. Both games tonight are pre ruined.

wasn't a good match-up if Davis and Lebron were playing

Silver really is a horrible commish.

I mean, I get if the NBA thought they need to reach out to kids and maybe they did with the whole BLM thing and the toks and the clothes and all that, but the regular season is simply a trash product now.

I do wonder why the people who have stressed that the regular season doesn’t matter at all for all these years are upset that players treat the regular season like it doesn’t matter. Seems they are just falling in line with a lot of peoples opinion.

Incredible how sharp the Lakers look without LeDeadWeight sandbagging on defense and slowing down their offense.

The smart thing the Lakers are doing is just letting it fly from deep. On paper this is a severe talent mismatch but if those threes are falling you always have a chance. The Celtics are cooperating by putting forth a fairly pathetic effort. I think the absence of James and Davis is actually helping the Lakers. Celtics would be more into this game if they were out there.

The regular season mattered until about a few years ago.

Remember in 2012 we had Lebron trying for DPOY. When is the last time a superstar tried for DPOY?

Then we had Warriors with the 73 game season.

I guess it stopped mattering when Lebron and Durant created their superteams.

AD being out is really going to hurt the Lakers in the 4th quarter. It will probably be balanced out though by not having a LeShrivel to choke in the 4th. Lakers just might pull this one out. Unfortunately.

You know Bronie is over there on the bench just FUMING watching his team playing so well without him. He's petty like that.

Celtics are still the dumbest team in the league. 48 3PA vs that team?? You're supposed to attack Dlo and Reaves, not bail them out wih 3s :facepalm

With LeBron and Davis out, the Lakers needed to buid on their 3, and so Russell shot 5/20 and the Lakers beat the Celtics by double digits in Boston, as expected.

All in all did the next 3 top guys minus Reaves in Russell/Rui/Wood shoot 11/43 and thus expectedly blow the Celtics out in Boston.

I hate when we go cold and decide to keep chucking when we could’ve gotten anything we wanted if we attacked the rim. These games were we go like 8-49 from 3 are so frustrating to watch because they do t change what they’re doing.

Pretty hilarious twist of irony.

Lebron and AD ducked a prime time game of the year classic rivalry matchup and the Celtics subsequently let their guard down and got beat.

Cowards and softies on both sides.

Absolutely but i personally haven't been a laker fan since 2019. I'm just waiting to see the end of the lebum circus, his stans and losing, it's like a bad dream.. but it was expected because i know he's a stat padding fraud hoping people see him as the goat. He's horrible for the NBA, he needs to leave.

Yesterday was beautiful, lebum ducks the Celtics like a shameless ho to send a message to fire coach and teammates yet again, 500 record, criticizes teammates after Houston & Hawks whooping, Hourglass emoji for coach Ham on twitter and then Lakers beating the number 1 Celtics without his snake ass?
