Does a team's chemistry and strategic capacity/coaching depend on the skillset/style of the top shot-taker (1st option)?

So if a coach takes over a Luka or Lebron team, does he have the same capacity for chemistry, strategy and brand of ball that he would have if he coached lower hold-time players like Duncan, Jokic, Curry or MJ?

Taking the most shots does not necessarily make you the first option if you are breaking the offense to do so. See-Kobe with Shaq, Kyrie with LeBron.

Whatever definition you want for 1st option - fine - does a 1st option drive chemistry and strategic capacity/coaching?

Can a coach pursue the kind of high ball movement "dynasty" ball that these guys allowed and has a high-scoring 1st option that dominated the ball ever had a dynasty?
