He’s elected to wear the purple and gold and represent Lebron James once has has officially cleared waivers.
Keep in mind this does NOT classify as “help” for Lebron. But it cant hurt to have another established scorer on the depth chart, given how frequently LeTeammates get hurt due to their lack of commitment to matching Lebron’s strength and conditioning energy.

Super team.
Anything less than a championship is utter failure.

This! Couldn't even make play in with peak Westbrook, Anthony Davis, Lebron.

And barely above .500 with Davis, Russel, Reaves, and Hachimura. Dinwiddie is a good pickup though. He's underrated.

Does nothing to address the Lakers’ weaknesses.

Dinwiddie is a good player, would have liked him back on Mavs, but can understand why he would choose Lakers considering Mavs and their guard rotation.
Dinwiddie is like a poor man's Kyrie, someone who can create and make shots on his own, from 3 or in isolation. Best suited for a backup role though imo.
A bit miffed he didn't choose Mavs.

Lakers paid more money. I'd guess that was the main factor
