View Full Version : Who's the least-discussed top-ten GOAT nowadays?

I don't mean the most underrated players; that would be the wrong word for anyone in this pantheon. I'm more so asking about those who, in a vacuum, you feel are talked about the least.

ATGs we widely accepted as top ten all-time while rarely bothering to break down their careers. Players who are mentioned in the vast majority of top-ten lists yet seldom elsewhere.

Obviously they were all renowned enough during their heydays, but some faded into relative obscurity over time. Whether it's because they had less magnetism than usual for a superstar (e.g., Tim Duncan), got outshined by costars (e.g., Kareem playing next to Magic), or because they played too long ago (e.g., Wilt and Russell), you might not see them talked about nearly as in-depth as other legends in their bracket.

In your experiences, who on the top-ten list do you see discussed the least, whether in a good or bad light?

I've included most of the consensus top-ten GOATs in the poll. For obvious reasons, I've omitted Jordan and LeBron: no non-trolls will vote for them. Curry and Kobe—whether or not you even consider them top ten—would be pointless inclusions for much the same reason.

Probably Duncan or Hakeem. Although all of them are talked about fairly often tbh.

Hakeem is the closest although he's not really forgotten or anything. I still see Duncan mentioned quite a bit despite him being a boring homosexual player

Hakeem won't be a top 10 guy much longer anyhow, Jokic clears. KD with a ring this year clears

It's Mikan then Moses then Oscar but Hakeem is the best of the options.
