I've been more impressed with him than Chet who I saw some in college too. Chet is better on paper right now. The thing that he does that I don't remember ever seeing anyone do is when he gets it a few feet from the basket with his back to it where a typical big would go for a jump hook or something. He'll just reach his arm back and dunk it with that incredible reach.

Yeah but he's playing 29mins a night. I doubt there's gonna be tangible dropoff in production pushing it another 4-5 minutes.

I think he'd be good for 25 ppg, 12 rpg, 4.5 apg, 1.5 spg, and 4.0 bpg if he played as many minutes as Anthony Davis - 35.8 mpg. That's an extra 7.9 minutes per game.

Yeah, I project Wemby as a Garnett type player.

I don't think he'll ever be a natural 1st option scorer, not on the likes of Embiid, but he has really good intuition and feel for the game and is a willing passer. He can definitely be a team anchor on offense and defense, but he'll need an off ball guard to pair with, which is becoming more difficult to find these days.

That's a fair ranking. I've seen a media guy rank him as high as 15th right now, which may be too high. I think he'll make titanic jumps over the next two seasons as he becomes stronger, more powerful, improves his endurance and work capacity, and puts on quality size. Still, being a top-20 player as a rookie is nothing to scoff at.
