I suspect that deep down they are ashamed and embarrassed, as every single talking point they amassed over the last few years has been rendered null. All of their narratives and arguments have been exposed and the hypocrisy has become too overwhelming.

Every single defamatory lie they hurled at Trump can just as easily be applied to Biden and the democrats now. They can't even lean on Jan 6 or Covid anymore, as those lies have been exposed too. Not to mention the dems flop flop on illegal immigration. That was a huge blow to them and it must have been so humiliating for them privately.

Outside of abortion and the occasional buffoonery committed by random right wing politicians (Laura Boebart), it seems like left wingers are totally at a loss for words lately.
