View Full Version : Biden administration ADMITS flying 320,000 migrants secretly into the U.S.
Customs and Border Protection has refused to disclose information about a program last year secretly arranging flights for thousands of undocumented immigrants from foreign airports directly to U.S. cities.
It means that while record numbers of migrants were flowing over the southern border last year, the Biden White House was also directly transporting them into the country.
Use of a cell phone app has allowed for the near undetected arrival by air of 320,000 aliens with no legal rights to enter the United States.
It comes after a controversy over a 2022 transportation program in which the administration used taxpayers money to move migrants throughout the country on overnight flights.
Included in details of a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit first reported by Todd Bensman, the Center for Immigration Studies found Biden's CBP approved the latest secretive flights that transported hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants from foreign countries into at least 43 different American airports from January through December 2023.
The program was part of Biden's expansion of the CBP One app, which kicked off at the start of last year.
Migrants were able, under Biden's expansion, to apply for asylum using the app from their home countries.
Aliens who cannot legally enter the U.S. use CBP One to apply for travel authorization and temporary humanitarian release from those airports.
Under this parole release, migrants are able to remain in the U.S. for two years without obtaining legal status and meanwhile are eligible for work authorization.

Where is the US mainstream media on this - this outrageous information needs to be broadcasted all over the US (article from UK source). Biden wants to secure the border, my foot. He is facilitating this disaster.

You need to be really close minded for this narrative to make any logical sense, like you have to be rooting for a party unconditionally.
Dems spent 3 years pretending there was no issue at the border, collaborating with the MSM to keep it out the public eye. But now not long before the election and crazy immigration numbers come out and they're done with this batch of imported future dem votes, they put forward a bill so they can say "hey, we're actually the one's who are tough on immigration". A bill that is just as much about funding the Ukraine war, and all of the sudden it's actually the Republicans fault that there's all this illegal immigration which just happened to spike the moment Biden took office :oldlol:

Funny the lib media and the mindless sheep that lap up what they say act like this was a "bipartisan" bill and the Republicans opposed the immigration part. :facepalm
Only 4 of the 49 Senate Republicans supported it. And this "immigration" bill was 118 billion dollars with 94 billion going to foreign aid, the overwhelming majority to the Ukraine. It's like liberals don't have a mind of their own to think objectively. Make an "infrastructure" bill mostly loaded with fat, earmarks and political favoring, then say "Oh what! You don't support more infrastructure and jobs for Americans? How dare you!". Make a "border and immigration" bill mostly made up of foreign aid, then say "Oh what! You don't care about the border all of a sudden??? How dare you!" Both sides do this but the left is much more guilty of it, mostly because they know they can spin the media in their favor much easier.

You posted this just as as was writing my post. Our posts overlap the same subject. But it's not "just as much funding". Ukraine alone gets over 60 billion. Our own border at home gets only 24 billion. Less than half. It's not even about Ukraine I bet, I'm thinking something more nefarious. They probably put so much aid to the Ukraine attached to the "border" bill as a poison pill knowing Trump Republicans would absolutely not support that

This should be a major scandal. Instead, it will get very little coverage and people will just move on with their lives. Just like everything else.
Also, if Biden has deported more illegals than Trump, then common sense would tell you that it's because there's many, many times more illegal aliens to deport. They are over saturated.

Republicans can surely propose an immigration bill. Have they?
Most, if not all, bills are each side giving up something and getting something in return. The immigration/foreign aid bill for Ukraine+Israel gave the Republicans most of what they wanted on immigration (much more than democrats would have agreed to under most circumstances). However, Republicans had dug in on no aid for Ukraine. If it was just Israel by itself, they would have been falling over each other in a stampede to sign.
Even outside that, Republicans had gotten so much that they had enough Republican support to get it through. Until shepherd Donald happened, feeling threatened if Biden was the one signing it into law in election year. Trump had been talking immigration since 2015 but never actually did anything about it while in office.
From that bill btw, Ukraine aid for 2024 would be $60 billion out of $118 billion overall. Essentially have to ask is immigration issue worth $60 billion in Ukraine aid to Republicans? If not, what is their counter-proposal? (they didn't provide a counter proposal after shepherd Donald told them to kill it btw)
On cue from shepherd Donald, speaker blasted the bill for including Ukraine aid in there and blasted Democrats for doing nothing to address the border. After he got the bill, Johnson blasted Democrats for not proposing a bill on the border. He is arguing both ways. The intent is clear - nothing is getting done in Congress or Supreme Court until November when Grandpa Joe wins the election again.

Illegal immigration and running a proxy war have nothing to do with each other, just the fact that you're casually arguing these things together shows how far it's all slipped.
And no, there's no reason to propose a new bill to offset all the things Biden, Mayorkas and the rest of the establishment has done to induce immigration, it's like making a deal with the devil and it makes logical sense to just vote in the man who actually wants the number of illegal immigrants to be low instead.
Biden removed the remain in Mexico program and instead opened up an app for illegal immigrants to schedule their border crossing, they know exactly what they did and could undo it if they wanted, but instead the whole issue becomes "about who's really willing to make a new bill".
This is Mayorkas from a year ago, defending the new use of this app and surely not interested in fixing the illegal immigration issue:

So if there is no urge to present a counter-bill, does that mean that perhaps it is not as pressing of an issue that Republicans like to make it out to be?
If it was a one-issue problem across America, Trump would be fine. The fact is that it is not a one-issue thing. Trump causes significantly more issues than he helps fix, compared to biden at least. Republicans also lost both houses of congress and the white House under the guy even after he had the trifecta under gop control. He is not a good leader and certainly not someone who should be anywhere near the white house. Unless ofc you are putin and looking forward to America falling apart to chaos.
Like I said, once biden wins the election in November, Republicans will be forced to return to the table with this bill they just killed. Or at least some sort of counter-proposal that has slightly less in financial aid for Ukraine. Why is there even money for Israel in therr? Slash that and slash 10-15 billion to Ukraine and try for a slightly smaller bill. Israel is a rich country and doesn't need a penny from us to continue their revenge campaign against gaza. They have passed the point of justice and now has become a revenge campaign.

Btw, I watched the two clips by hawley and cruz. It's laughable how they bombard questions and don't allow the guy to answer. Especially cruz, who is jumping from bs question to bs question. Typical republican tactics.
From looking into this app, the US is not paying for the transportation of those who apply btw. They must apply, they get vetted, and if approved, they are told to report to a port of entry. Having said that, it does appear to be exploited because it can take years for the asylum case to be heard with the sheer volume. About 400k people over 13 months have come in using the app. The goal was to lessen the people getting to the border by controlling how many got in with the app, but it has not worked as it was meant to be.
With the passage of the asylum ban in May 2023, the application became the only viable option for nearly all people trying to seek asylum in the U.S. Under the ban, those who approach the border without a CBP One appointment or who cross between legal ports of entry are largely ineligible to apply for asylum. The app was supposed to simplify a process criticized for being inefficient, slow, and capricious. But nearly six months after the ban went into effect, CBP One continues to present substantial obstacles for asylum seekers. Both CBP’s practice of turning away asylum seekers without CBP One appointments and the asylum ban itself face ongoing litigation.
...
To use the CBP One app to schedule an appointment, asylum seekers must be located in northern or central Mexico. After registering for an account, users have a 23-hour window each day to request an appointment. Appointments are then distributed at random the following day, with a portion of the appointments reserved for users who have had their accounts open the longest.
The biggest problem with CBP One is that demand far exceeds the supply of available appointments. As of this writing, only 1,450 appointments are available across the eight participating ports each day, accommodating a small fraction of the number interested. HIAS Mexico staff estimate that the average wait time is one to two months. In cities along the border, shelters are filled beyond capacity, and many people wait for appointments in makeshift camps. Asylum seekers are often targeted for violence and persecution as they wait.https://hias.org/news/asylum-seekers-cbp-one-app-poses-major-challenges/
1,500 appointments per day are allowed out of millions of applicants. So 7,500 a week, 30k per month. And there is no guarantee all of them make it in. The goal was to cut down on the number of people at the border if they can't seek asylum without getting appointment on the app. It also allows a background check of the applications. Sure, someone may provide fraudulent information so I do think the asylum request should be stringent for potential asylum seekers.

We dont need any new bills to address the border situation... Donald Trump didnt have any special border bills when he was in office, but during his tenure illegal crossings were a tiny fraction of what they are now. In order to address the border situation, all Biden needs to do is start enforcing the existing border laws.

This is ChatGPT level post with a terrible prompt, what you describe is a green card function for illegal immigrants with a funnel included for inducing more illegal immigration since you had to be in Mexico to apply - what are people from Venezuela who wants into the US likely to do if they are in Mexico to apply for this green card and get denied or experience issues with the app, go back home or cross the border by foot?
The app worked as intended, just not as pretended..
As Nanners said, there's no bill needed as we know the fix to illegal immigration. Also, discussing bills which you like so much to do - running a proxy war and fighting illegal immigration have nothing to do with each other and it makes no sense to that any bill should cover both issues.
