For those who don't want to watch the video, he is building a modern team around MJ and assuming MJ is being paid 51mil, with a team cap of 195mil. He also seemed to avoid the obvious rookie contract phenoms like Sengun for 3.5mil and Haliburton for 5.8mil, as that dilutes the quality and fun of these types of exercises.

I dont know if the Jokic pick makes sense given MJ's ball dominance. It kinda puts Joker's playmaking to waste, not to mention MJ cant really space the floor on Joker post ups.

I think you wanna go with players up front that give you defense, plus some floor spacing. Something like KP and Draymond.

Of course MJ needs his Pippen but we're running low on cap space so I'm gonna give him a Dollar Store Pippen in Denver's Christian Braun, who is an athletic finisher and strong defender on the wing.

Yep. MJ would probably take on a bigger role defensively but Jokic is better than everything else than Pippen is. Could space the floor more to give MJ room to work
