Saw this on Reddit.
Instead of Jose Calderon's name on the boxscore of Kobe's faithful 81-point night against the Raptors, it says Jose Calderson. Instead of Von Wafer's correctly spelled name, it reads Vom Wafer, and instead of 'Coach's Decision' it reads 'Coach's Decicion', even though it was spelled correctly directly above.

I can see Vom being somewhat excusable, but not the others. That's just blatantly dumb.

The statue has the box score from his 81 point game? Lol.
I feel like they could have come up with a better idea than that.

They better check the numbers on the box score. I'm sure there's some fabrication in there as well.

Theres no reason to focus on the negative. Overall this is a really thoughtful tribute to KB25.

The dumbest place in the entire world to spell words incorrectly would be on a statue
The one who wrote the names might likely be on crack.

Inevitable result of the oversaturation of statues and awards the nba is doing right now as well as the transition to automation and AI. Everything is getting dumber. Ironically it’s fitting that this is happening to Kobe because his career spanned the transition from earnest 90s nba to advanced statics AI nba.
