View Full Version : Virtually Every Dunk should be an "And One"

I watch a lot of highlights so I see a lot of dunks.

I can't help but notice that there's a foul on almost every one of these dunks. The offensive player gets whacked in the arm most of the time, sometimes the shoulder.

The foul call is almost never made.

Sometimes we get used to this sort of thing and just think they don't call it, so no call needs to be made. That's reductive thinking. It's a foul on any other kind of shot.

Worse, some people like Klay Thompson have gotten seriously injured during the dunk- because refs don't rein in people for contact on a dunk.

A compromise position is if you make contact with the ball, no foul. But most of these hacks aren't even getting close to hitting the ball.

Add this to the list of OP's dumb takes. OP is the same guy who said last year that SGA didn't even deserve to be rated among other top players :lol

It's amazing how someone can have such confidence in their convictions but be so utterly wrong most of the time.
