Yeah it's college, but DJ Burnes was a beautiful thing to watch last night. Old school, back you down, toolbox moves on the block with touch galore. And Duke had no answer.

College ball has lost its lore lately. Look at the draft board, 5 of the 8 top projected picks are not in college basketball. Right now, I think the women's tournament is more popular than the men's. I expect the Iowa vs LSU game to do better numbers than any men's game besides the title game. That's wild.

The combination of one and done and NIL make NCAA men hard to follow and not as interesting aside from your own school. Women's game potentially has those issues but the girls aren't in as much of a rush to go pro so the players are better developed and the fans can follow them longer at that level. NCAA should just treat players like employees with contacts or else men's basketball and football are going to be a mess. Every year players (and not just the best players) are looking to move wherever they can make the most money. Multi-year contracts would fix the NIL part of that.

If anyone brought the post-up back in college basketball, it's Zach Edey. 30/16 on 67% TS in the NCAA tournament so far. A legendary run. Doing things that haven't been done since Shaq, Sampson, and Kareem.

This!
DJ Burns has a nice game, but he will be Sean May if he gets drafted into the league.

Nah, Edey dwarfs over everyone. He can do whatever he wants. He doesn't need the toolbox.
Not slighting Edey, by the way. He's dominant.
