I have been watch pod casts with JJ and Lebron.
Very informative

It really seems to me that Lebron would be a great coach.

Do you think he would ever do it ??? :confusedshrug:

He has the greatest basketball mind of any player ever and I don't think he's one of those guys who will leave the game and fade away in retirement

I can definitely see him being a coach of some sort

Billionaire is not going to coach full time for 8 mil a year. And that's me assuming he skips the assistant level, which if he is serious about being a coach he shouldn't do. He could own a team but he's not going to do anything full time for the kind of money coaches are paid.

I don't really see him checking that off his bucket list...I think he's going straight to ownership/GM route. He should take on the roll of player/coach for the last 5 years of his career

I dont think he'll ever coach players full time as a job, I think the time commitment would interfere with some of his other pursuits, but I could see him holding a two week boot camp each summer where he coaches the coaches. Expands their understanding of the game, provides them various techniques for teaching, and essentially gives them the tools to go out and be the best coaches they can be.

That way they can pass on His wisdom to the player base, and in a way it will be like all players having Lebron as a coach. Which is a huge win for the sport.

Does he? Or is he just out there the most talking about this? Which I'm not hating on, just saying.

I just have a hard time believing that a guy who is as ball dominant as he's been, when history says that's not the most ideal way to win championships, and constantly just tries to stack the deck no matter the fit i.e. Russell Westbrook is the "greatest mind" ever. I'm not saying he's not brilliant, cause he obviously is, I just think something doesn't connect here.

Won 4 championships in the toughest era of basketball ever

How else is he still a top 5 player in the league at 40, LeBron has been able to play at an MVP level across 3 eras because his basketball IQ is so superior, no athlete ever has had his sustained level of dominance from 18-39

He's gotta be one of the greatest minds ever. Not debatable. The guy has mvp/fmvps across 3 decades in game that has been evolving along his career. Alot of fans miss the subtleties of the game for sure. And stuff about player fit is managments job not Lebron's. I'd imagine these decisions are made with what you think you can get out of a guy rather than just playing legos. Whether or not the guy can fill the role you imagine for him is a whole other thing.

Will it be that same strange coincidence of his contract being up and able to go where he chooses again? Wow nobody gets to move on but Lebron!

Yeah he's terrible at managing egos. He's too big of a star to be a coach anyways.

This.

He wants to own a team, similar to MJ.

And he will be much better at running one compared to the epic failure MJ was.

I feel like he would be a pretty good coach. He's way smarter than somebody like doc rivers or Mark Jackson... preacher types. Lebron actually dissects things like an x's and o's guy. And he's not an asshole like MJ who will bully guys in practice and hurt morale.

Are you really brainless? His podcast is stupid....its just him trying to change the narrative of his career because he knows its a failure. You must be an idiot

Lol relax. Why is it ok for everyone to mock the 80s and 90s but it's not ok to mock Lebron?

Dude SO WHAT if I had a “dirty dream” about Lebron?? First of all how do you know that, second of all I cant control what I dream about. Thirdly I’m not even ashamed, Lebron is a remarkably irresistible colossus of a man who inevitably leaves a poignant impression on anyone’s psyche. I cherish the time we are able to spend together, if only in a world imagined as I sleep.

Edit: I’m sorry it appears I misread your comment.
