Insane.

The Warriors missing the playoffs at 48-34 and the Hawks making it at 37-45.

This has happened quite a few years.

They probably should have went to taking the top 16 teams in the nba

Those Hornets were pretty stacked too. Forgot about them. MVP level Chris Paul, David west, Peja, Tyson Chandler, Mo PETE who Kobe gave the business to. :lol Good times.

No, because there would he no use for conferences.

What use for conferences is there now other than travel? Use conferences during the season to keep the long flights down, then reseed for the playoffs. I suppose it could lead to some ugly one versus 16 matchups though. Be interesting initially either way.

Ws would have had home court in the east :oldlol:

And in the previous year in 2007 the Cavs would've faced the Spurs in the 1st round if they were in the west.

It's comical how bad the East used to be. It's actually pretty strong now.

Mainly game times Im guessing. Right now you dont have to worry until the finals about fans in Miami, New York, Philly having to deal with 10 pm start times for a playoff game on the west coast, or 4:30 pm starts vice versa.

Unless they wanted to do a giant bubble again somewhere in the central time zone and just make it a straight 1-16 extravaganza. But I think the players would mutiny due to being shook of ever playing Lebron in a bubble again.

Edit: Not that fans in NY and Philly actually have to worry about Finals start times either way
