Except the Celtics, the East is quite literally a JV conference. :oldlol:

Even the Warriors would be like the 2nd seed in the East. Good lord this is embarrassing:oldlol:

Meh, if you take out the East's lowest 5 and take out the West's lowest 5, the record is virtually the same.

Does this help you sleep at night?

"My team lost in the first round, but in an alternate reality, they would've lost in the 2nd round or maybe even the conference final. So, talk up to me, bro!"

East has more bottom feeders but would you really want to see Philly or Miami in the 1st round? Wolves would probably lose that.

We definitely are weaker without a fully healthy KAT. IT'll be interesting!

OP already making excuses for when the Wolves are bounced out of the first round by the Lakers

Towns is supposed to return before the playoffs, great defense can take you far and Edwards is the real deal. Minnesota should get to the second or third round. I would not pick them against Denver but Gobert is about as good as it gets for defending Jokic on paper.

Yeah if the celtics somehow don't come out of the East this year they really need to blow it up

100%

This has nothing to do with the Wolves:roll:

Just telling that aside from the Celtics, all the top seeds in the East are basically .500 against the West. Meanwhile, basically every team in the West play off hunt has rocked the East

It's the absolutely most useless talking point.

And are we supposed to expect the NBA to scrap the conferences and have Boston vs. LA, and Miami vs Portland playoff series where teams are losing 6-7 hours flying between games and people stay up until 2AM or watch a 3 PM start time?

Unless this is for betting purposes I just don't understand this useless dialog.

Op can just root for lebron anyway once the lakers get farther in the playoffs, like many other guys around here once their respective teams get squashed later on.

Which teams in the east should be taken seriously for the finals? The Celtics and Bucks, and that's it, right?

The heat would have been convincing if they had a much better record in the rs.
