From what I’ve heard, his early return means that his meniscus repair surgery was actually a meniscus removal. It’s a more radical surgery, but with a shorter recovery time.

There’s a big difference between being back and being in playing shape, but it’s still good news for the Wolves who desperately need something else in their half court offense.

Isn’t he almost guaranteed to have horrible bone on bone knee problems inside 10 years with no meniscus ?

That’s how I understand it. This is all based on stuff I heard on Sirius NBA radio. It may be false, but it sounds right to me. And yeah, no meniscus can’t be good, and worse carrying that kind of weight.
