The Pelicans today said that sign Williamson will be out at least 2 weeks with a hamstring injury.

That team was fun while it lasted. I don't see any reason to think that Brandon Ingram and CJ McCollum have the ability to carry them particularly far in the playoffs.

The report said he'll be reevaluated in two weeks so that doesn't even mean he'll necessarily be back at that time

Being injured in a play-in game, yikes. How unfortunate.

That's crazy, rewatching it now you would never think he'd get injured on a play like that, looks like a totally normal sequence.

At least it was nothing serious but the timing of it really sucks

This is what happens when you're chronically out of shape. Poor diet and lifestyle choices are what keeps certain guys injured.

He's been in great shape since all star break. Dropped 35 lbs and steadily increased his minutes. Has been playing like the guy we predicted him to be when he was drafted. He'll be fine, just needs a great summer workout regimen. Pelicans weren't going to make noise this year anyway. If they can get a good playmaking point guard, even if it means dealing yung drip king, they'll be good next season.
