Don't worry, they have DeRozan as one so it's legit.

I mean I guess if Lebron can get snubbed on DPOY this year anything’s possible.

Why are the league so salty about Luka?

He could have been the face of the league. Instead he's an out of shape selfish chucking cry baby. Most annoying player I've ever seen. Jokic on the other hand...

it's hard for ball-dominators to be clutch because they're accustomed to passing to lesser teammates to bailout many possessions throughout the game - it's how ball-dominators play - they pass to lesser teammates instead of letting lesser teammates pass to them.

If thats true then it’s even more impressive of Luka. Everyone knows whats coming and he doesnt even have to move around to get open. He stands there and looks you in the eye in the biggest moments and buries you.

He has flaws but being clutch… aint one of em.

No push-off necessary :crazysam:

Luka is more clutch than LeChoke obviously but not on Jordan's level of pull-up jumpshot.. it isn't remotely close.. Luka has a step-back, while MJ has step-back (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dFjrWLAvnpQ&pp=ygUQSm9yZGFuIDE5OTIgamF6eg%3D%3D&t=06m21s), push-off, turnaround, elevation, and everything in between.. lol there's no comparison.

I think having Kyrie on the team hurts him. They're clutch together so neither gets votes. Mavs were the best team in the NBA at winning close games this season.

Lol what? He worked to get in shape for this season and if you actually watched the Clippers game he was giving it to them on both ends of the court. You're saying he's out of shape yet he dominated on offense and shut down Kawhi (Clippers were 2-17 when defended by Luka overall) when it mattered.

So who else besides Curry and DeRozanwere finalists and nearly finalists ?
What are the criteria … just total points in the final 5mins when score within 5 either way ?

Or were made shots with under 3 on shot clock, makes to end quarter, and game winners factored in ?

Cause if a transiton layup at 4:59 remaining to go up 7 is worth the same cumulative points as a game winner, they need to revamp their equation….

Yeah but Ree missed a bunch of games. He wouldnt have qualified. And they still finished fifth in the blood bath west.

Anyway I know it's an award for one specific regular season, but kinda funny Luka doesnt even make top 3 when he's clearly the guy anyone's gonna take down the stretch of a big game.

You mean to Paxson and Kerr?
