LeBron did not only get outscored by Jason Terry. LeBron literally logged in 67, that’s right, 67 more minutes than Jason Terry, that is like giving LeBron more than a free entire game and he still came up short vs an old, zero-time all-star, undersized guard, Jason Terry on the biggest stage. (https://www.basketball-reference.com...s-vs-heat.html)

Just one of many reasons why it is the common consensus that it is the GOAT choke. The worst choke of all time. Which immediately invalidated any conversation of being the GOAT and still to this day makes it an argument if he’s top 10.

It’s also worth mentioning that the Finals in 2011 were too much for LeBron, he already had previous experience in the 2007 Finals too so it wasn’t his first time around. LeBron was in his prime at 26 and it was his second appearance….the lights were still too bright and he choked hard again. Choked even harder then the first. It’s the GOAT choke.

So that being said when it’s time to evaluate the 2012 shortened lockout season ring vs the 22 and 23 year old core of OKC…Is this ring really anything to write home about? KD was 23, Russ 23, Harden 22. All of these guys are still known for being low iq chokers in big moments even after experience.

So celebrating a win vs 22 and 23 year old low iq choke artists does not really make sense. Especially when a player supposedly as great as LeBron James was still shitting the bed on the biggest stage, even with WAY more personal experience (LeBron had more years of experience, and more finals experience) in 2011.

So if one of the best players of all time is still choking his way through his first two finals even at age 26? What’s so special about beating lesser players that were younger with even less experience? In a shortened lock out season as well.

there's been less and less double coverage in the league because there's just about 1 player left in the entire league that just rebounds and do put backs/lobs (Gobert)

the league has somewhat moved on from pure strength without agility, to the requisition of a combination of both.

can you imagine the outcry from players who solely rely on agility to survive the league and having to look at a 3/18 stat line? while I'm not sure if a 150lb tweener could elephant shit on Lebron, but they'll do it.

your logic is quite flawed. your idea of a functional civilization is that when the greatest fail to perform, riot should roam free, instead of pondering the environmental causes to the failed performance.

so you just need to keep in mind, when the day comes, and that riot roams through your personal life, don't try and blame others failed performances. because you had full intention of committing the crime all along, it's just that you got caught.

What do you think?

If he also goes 16-17 from the line, and Davis, DLo, and Reaves have good games, the Lakers would still have a chance.

Ewing’s Knicks were not elephant shot (or any other kind for that matter). They won two other games in that series. But playing against them is a far cry from playing against the defending champs.

The original take is both stupid and unfair (and this is coming from a LeBron and Laker hater).
