View Full Version : Lebron's 07' Eastern run was invalidated once we found out a 22 on 36% bum did it

.
Lebron was practically "Larry Hughes" vs championship comp and in high-pressure moments from 2007-2011:

22 on 36% vs 07' Spurs
26 on 35% vs 08' Celtics
21 on 34% vs 10' Celtics (last 3 games)
18 on 48% vs 11' Mavs

lebron ROUTINELY lost 4th quarter leads for his entire career, not just against the current Nuggets - he lost 3 fourth quarter leads in the 09' ECF, which includes 7 TO's in the 4th quarter and OT of critical Game 4, while refusing to guard his position for the entire series (Hedo), and turning into 12 TO per game player in clutch-time for the series... Or simply being too ball-dominant at very high-scoring levels to beat top teams.

Ultimately, Lebron's horrific performance against championship comp over an extended time period (07-11') invalidates his Eastern run in 07', along with the simple fact that any Tom, Dick and Harry was taking 1-star teams to the Finals at that time and then getting destroyed in the Finals (Iverson, Dwight, Kidd twice).

05' HUGHES.... 21.6 PER.. 4.3 BPM.. 0.157 WS/48.. 3.7 VORP... 22/6/5.. 1st Team All-D
90' PIPPEN...... 16.3 PER.. 1.8 BPM.. 0.087 WS/48.. 3.0 VORP... 16/6/5.. No All-D

^^^ MJ clearly 3-peats with the East all-star center, good coach, and an acquisition that was performing better than 1990 Pippen on both sides of the ball .

In contrast to Jordan being thrown into the playoffs in year 1 as a low seed, Lebron had 3 years to develop a favored, high seed before entering his first playoffs in 2006 - this development includes Lebron & Zydrunas becoming all-stars in 2005 and then adding a HOF coach and 22/5/5 all-defender before entering the 06' Playoffs.. Yet Lebron still had only a 45-win team by Year 5 (2008) before adding the all-star spacer in 2009 that could take his stiff-arm to MVP-level.. Then he added a scorer that was better than Pippen to be his 3rd option in 2010 (Jamison), while already having better defensive ranking than the 1st three-peat Bulls since 2007 (long before Lebron was all-defensive player).. All of this is historical record..

It's clear that Jordan would've easily won titles with the East all-star center, HOF coach and an acquisition that was performing far better than 1990 Pippen on both sides of the ball (05' Hughes) - see stats at the top - MJ clearly 3-peats with the East all-star center, good coach, and an acquisition that was performing better than 1990 Pippen on both sides of the ball .

ringless without pippen

bulls won 55 games without jordan

lebron couldve used those stacked bulls casts during the early cleveland days. I cant see those cavs winning even 40 games without the GOAT. :oldlol:
