View Full Version : Why is Lebron always left to take the hardest road with the most adversity??

Sometimes he chooses it for himself obviously, just for the sheer excitement of a challenge, but then other times it feels like the league and even the basketball gods are conspiring against him to make everything more difficult. He’s like freakin LeJob up in here.
I dunno, it just… it hurts me sometimes to see.
But I know hes able to overcome anything, and he always handles adversity with the utmost grace.
I guess I just wish there was something I could do for him. Some way to be there for him. Some way to be with him…
Do you guys know he once autographed a Starter cap for me? I still cherish that thing. Have it in a glass case.
*sigh*

Maybe he should "choose" to stay out of the play in so he doesn't have to face the defending champs in the first round. :oldlol:

Is it a KD hardest road joke or east being trash joke? Both seem plausible. He should just join Celtics imo.

Actually it was more of an Eminem/Stan joke.
But I agree about the Celtics.

He should join the Nuggets and run their second team. At least that would sort of be a fit, if he would agree to play D for 15-18 minutes per night.

Ego is a big factor...he takes giant contracts because his goal is to be an owner and win as an owner. I don't blame him for that...he's a student of the game and he's seen the pitfalls of Magic, Isiah, KAJ, Jordan, and Russell. If he owns a team he has control and he's good enough at building champions and scouting talent that he can get to those 10-11 championships that Bill Russell(11), Phil Jackson(13), KC Jones (10) Pat Riley (9) and Jerry West(9) have.
He also likes winning with his friends and I think he really wants to win with both of his sons (Bronny and Bryce). Because as a man who was told to shut and dribble and raised without a father to win with his kids and to have that success would mean the world to him. He's not MJ who does it for the money...he's trying to do something greater, and I admire that.
