Good point re. usage. I cringed the other night when the knicks went straight to Brunson ISO for the entirety of overtime. Brunson is a beast, but 29 attempts per game against the sixers was a bit much.

I agree they need to be able to switch gears more effectively. Seems like more of a thibbs thing than Brunson. And how their roster is constructed there isn’t a lot of options if you are going down the stretch. This team gives me a bit of a modern day AI sixers vibes with mostly of hard playing role players and a undersized guard who has a large offensive burden on his shoulders.

I think a lot of that has to do with Randle being out. Cause with Randle, it's ISO ball all the time and that's where Thibs loses me as a fan cause he doesn't seem to do anything to stop that.

I'm with coin24, I think the team needs additional pieces and I think trading Randle is a good starting point. I would actually use these two picks in the draft this year instead of trading them away like they've done in the past. Zach Edey makes perfect sense for the Knicks.

I think all that's missing from this team is a Shooting Guard that can elevate that offense further. But the SG FA market is weak this year.

You can't run a great offense with only 1 All Star offensive talent. OG is nice because he plays great defense and can board outside of just scoring... but overall the Knicks are anemic in offensive talent compared to top teams. No coach is gonna fix that.
