Except for flagrants?

I really do wonder.

Lebron himself gets away with a lot but individually he's not that bad. There's far worse characters out here.

Depends how far you want to take it. If you just bear hug Steph Curry off the ball is that a flagrant?

We would have to go down along and winding path to get to an acceptable game to play, but putting all that aside and going with a more reasonable premise? Doing it street ball style where people don’t Miraculously don’t fall over because you shoot near them when they take a long jumper and humans are able to maintain balance when bumped?

Just….a no blood no foul real basketball game?

Might still be the Celtics Minnesota or Nuggets. Plenty of defense and players who can play physical without complaint.

Embiid and the Sixers for sure.

Not only would they win the NBA championship, they'd be the galactic and Universal champions defying past, present, and future exploding basketball itself to a higher dimensions.

I mean... that would be a very obvious take foul. So let's expand the criteria slightly to flagrants and blatant intentional fouls.

Nobody calls fouls in pickup games unless it's some crazy shit. This shouldn't be that hard to get done. NBA players would never get away with this shit on a playground.

1980's with bumper cars ....

no calls would be brutual cause these are pro's , knowing how to push , pull , and elbow people.

wait, you're saying coaches/veterans provide leadership and experience? you mean, it's not just a basketball camp where everyone is rewarded for going full speed and full strength?

you mean, people pay tickets and stream basketball games with quality lower than the local gym?

you mean, a free throw is just giving my bench players an opportunity to eat?

100% chance that NBA players would whine about and claim fouls immediately. It might dwindle over time but a lot of those guys are complaining all the way to the end.

Game would evolve into something like rugby with the basket being the end/try-zone.

You'd need athleticism, size, toughness and passing. Getting the ball up the court would be hard. I'm not sure how things like defensive 3 seconds, etc are being called in this format. Either way you need to build momentum going to the basket and dunk it or hit floaters if you can't get that close.

James Harden would revolutionize the game by leading every play with his head and thus baiting head injury flagrants and still get to the line.
