View Full Version : Jalen Brunson has taken the title of best DRose disciple from Morant

It was long assumed that Ja is the natural successor of Derrick MVP Rose due to his speed and elevation, but Brunson maxed out the strength, craftiness and finesse of post injury Rose. But the dealbreaker is personality: Ja is a "gangsta" hothead, while Jalen is a silent assassin. So the title of "new DRose" belongs to him. Yall agree?

If you consider a 'title' to mean the object of your neurotic homosexual lust.

Then yes. He has the title.

No one has cared about Rose since about 2013.

Surprised you managed to keep Lebron's c*ck out of your mouth long enough to say that

Nice casual take, loser. Rose is still the youngest MVP ever, one of the most revered and mythical players among current young ballers, and he was Knicks' best player in the playoffs as late as 2021.... and still a walking bucket whenever hes fit:

So shush there.

Rose had a game built on athleticism. Brunson is now about being crafty. He's more like Sam Cassell. Morant has been an idiot off the court but on the court he's much more like Rose.

His TS% this season was 54, it was 55 in his MVP season. So you are talking out of your ass. In 16 minutes as a veteran with all the injuries he is fine. And this is not about Rose in 2024 its about playing style + legacy.

Brunson at full speed,
moves like D-Rose in the shallow end of the pool.

Ja morant sucks balls. There's a big reason why his career isn't being so kind to him rn. Brunson and rose are angels compared to him.

Yeah but hes got the same floaters, pull ups, spin moves, post game, reverse layups, all kinds of crafty handles... I see a lot of Rose there, and he mentored him last season so a lot has rub off

Hes a great player but not very smart person. Rose was also like that but some people mature later.

Yes, he's obviously talented. I wouldn't discount that at all but he needs to grow up a lot. Like you said, hopefully he could mature. I don't remember Rose being exactly like him when he was young. Maybe he's only proudful back in the day but never became arrogant i believe.

Are you actually stupid enough to think TS% was similar league wide in 2012 compared to now? 55 TS% was good in 2012, it’s dogshit now.

Why are you using caveman stats? The league AVERAGE efficiency was 58.0 TS%. 54.0 TS% is objectively awful
