It's amazing how each "next MJ" demonstrates Jordan's goatness by allowing us to witness their objective inferiority.

Ant is a small guard with baby steps and hands compared to Jordan

See this is what I was worried about.

He’s super fun to watch when hes got it goin, very talented and you love his confidence and swagger.

But he’s got a small forward’s game in a point guard’s body. He’s not really a natural point guard. He’s not the ball handler that Irving or Curry are, and he doesnt have the size to play over the defense the way bigger guys like Haliburton, Luka etc can. He’s a skilled scorer but a little bit of a tweener.

He needs a guard who breaks down the defense to reduce its focus on Ant. Conley’s a nice steadying presence in general but he’s not a guy who really pressures the defense.

Theyre putting the ball in Edwards hands a lot and saying “start the offense.” Thats fine if hes hot for a game or even a series or two. But its not optimal. He needs to play offball more and they dont really have the personnel for him to do that right now.

MJ stans are the worst thing to happen to basketball.

But anyway, Ant said he won't be "him" until like 2 more seasons. Why take it from the horses mouth though? Better off just slandering him and spreading negativity because hey, someone said something about Jordan. Couldn't have that now, could we?!

You can't compare them, dude is in the finals and just played Denver for 7 games. In the first playoff round he averaged 31 pts.

Jordan at his age couldn't even make it that far and was getting swept in the first round like a bum lol.

You basically said it yourself. Ant doesn't have the motor that Jordan had.

MJ's motor died in the 1st round. Repeatedly. It got so bad that Sonny Vaccaro had to call a meeting with Stern to give him a Don Draper'esque presentation on what NBA growth and revenue would look like with MJ on top. That's when things miraculously changed.

Just shows you how ineffective MJ would be in the modern league

Wanna add to this it doesnt have to be a point guard, a post up big man would work too. Someone who shifts defense away from Ant at the start of possessions and makes it easier for him to get to the spots he wants.

Bro, nobody called him the next Michael Jordan. Chill with your weird insecurity. They said aspects to him. Remind them of Michael Jordan. Relax, bro.
