This time two years ago, all the polls were claiming there was gonna be a Red Wave in 2022.
All you idiot MAGAS believed it.

I'd have Trump as the slight favorite right now, but the polls have not been accurate the last few years. They had Hillary beating Trump handily the entire summer and fall of 2016, they had Biden beating Trump by a much larger margin than he ended up winning by last time, and they predicted a red wave in 2022.
It feels like polls used to be pretty accurate, but that honestly hasn't been the case for some time.

Historically, stock market performance has been one of the biggest factors in determining whether a president stays for 2nd term or not. The rich people are impacted the most by the stock market, and they have the most push/pull in the system (institutions too). The stock market has been on a tear lately. I really don't see biden losing this election unless he goes completely brain-dead in the hospital or something insane happens between now and the election.

Poopsie said in 2022 that the Red Wave was coming and it was the color of blood.
The Dems regained the Senate and that Republican majority in the House that Fats was crowing about is now down to just one vote.

Whoever that AIPAC supports will win

I think the polls are correct - it's what is taken away from them that's important - the most important being the AVERAGE of SWING STATE polls (like Real Clear Politics average) - not the national polls which is more like the popular vote.
Regarding 2016, the average of the national polls were correct - Hillary did win the popular vote (running up votes in CA, NY) but not paying attention to swing states like WI which iirc she never even visited.
RCP Poll Average 47.1 46.2 Trump +0.9
5-Way RCP Average 41.5 39.3 Trump +2.2
Top Battlegrounds 47.6 44.6 Trump +3.0
Wisconsin 47.7 47.6 Trump +0.1
Arizona 48.3 43.7 Trump +4.6
Georgia 48.7 44.6 Trump +4.1
Michigan 46.0 45.0 Trump +1.0
Pennsylvania 47.7 45.6 Trump +2.1
North Carolina 47.7 43.0 Trump +4.7
Nevada 47.2 42.6 Trump +4.6

Going by this, Trump is in a slightly favorable position. IMO, this has to be very tempered with the VAST advantage Democrats have in the GROUND GAME. Trump needs to stop wasting time and money in NJ and the Bronx. He MUST win one of PA, WI or MI - he looks (surprisingly) good in PA - they are probably pissed off at the LNG issue.
