This is the week to watch old Finals games

With the big gap before the Finals begin this seems like a good time to watch some old games. I like watching old games but it’s already hard enough to find time to follow all the basketball that’s currently going on. In the offseason I’m more into other sports.

I’m not ready to get into baseball yet. Football is far away. I’m going to try to watch a game or two from a few different series. Maybe one from the 80’s, one from the 90’s, one from the 2000’s.

If it’s a series from the 80’s, I don’t know a lot of those series very well so hopefully I can find a game and not see the Final score so I don’t know the exact outcome of the game :lol

I havnt even given it a thought of what I wanna watch. Just that it might be a good time to check out some old series. I might just pick a few at random.

I’ve done most of the finals games from the 90s. At least the ones that were close.

It’s really fascinating because people always chalk it up to this one player and maybe a sidekick but it’s always so much more. Rockets/Magic game 1 was a great one. You only hear about Hakeem/Shaq and Nick Anderson choking but Kenny went nuts from 3 in the 3rd when they were down by 15 or so.

Magic came back hard in the 4th.

Just go classic with lakers Celtics from the 80s. All 3 series worth watching. Then watch some Sixers Celtics on early 80s pistons Celtics late 80s
