.
KAT's 2024 Playoffs was equal or better than 4 of Pippen's title runs:
24' KAT.................... 19.1 PER.... 0.155 WS/48.... 19/9/3 on 58.1 TS
93' Pippen'............... 16.9 PER.... 0.083 WS/48.... 20/8/5 on 50.4 TS
97' Pippen'............... 18.1 PER.... 0.145 WS/48.... 19/8/4 on 52.6 TS
98' Pippen'............... 19.5 PER.... 0.166 WS/48.... 17/8/5 on 50.0 TS
96' Pippen'............... 19.4 PER.... 0.195 WS/48.... 17/9/6 on 47.3 TS
So stop saying that Ant needs a "Pippen" because he already has one and he just needs to learn how to carry it..
In addition to having a "pippen", Ant has Gobert (better than Horace) and McDaniels or Conley (better than Kukoc or Paxson)

PER doesn't take into account defense. Pippen is an all-time great defender.

3ball You stand in the line just to hit a new low, you're faking a smile with the coffee to go. You tell me your life's been way off line, you're falling to pieces every time. And I don't need no carryin' on
'Becauseeeee………….
you had a bad DAY
You're taking one DOWN
You sing a sad song just to turrrrrrrn it around!
You say you don't know
You tell me don't lie
You work on a smileeee and you go for a riiiiide
You had a bad day, the camera don't lie
You're coming back down and you really don't mind
You had a bad day…

Ant has 4x DPOY in Gobert and he also has another All-Defender in McDaniels
That's more defensive help than MJ ever had... :confusedshrug:
So Ant has greater defensive help... He has 2 pippen's in Gobert and McDaniels, while also having KAT (who is a good defender and guarded Jokic well)
so there's no excuses - Ant doesn't need more help - he just needs to GET BETTER and improve team chemistry or brand of ball.. Get better at basketball.. that's the answer because he has PLENTY of help.

Why do you let this account for this guy post here? Is it because traffic is so low? How many times does he repeat himself before you finally let him go?

The media says that Ant needs a "pippen", but he already has one and simply cannot carry it like Jordan did
KAT played better than Pippen offensively, while the Wolves had all-defensive players Gobert and McDaniels - so Ant has his "pippen's" but just needs to learn how to carry them like MJ did.

What about PG for KAT?
Towns can shoot his threes while Zu plays inside. Since Zu can actually convert baskets inside the paint this already makes him a better pairing with KAT than Toodles is.
PG can give the Wolves someone who can score and free Edwards up from excess defensive attention.
Granted PG's age doesnt align great with Ant and I dont think he's the ideal Edwards running mate, but I dont see how theyre gonna get an ideal version. This might be at least an upgrade from the current dynamic.

If Ant started out the series even average wolves would've been up 2-0. He blew it. They torched Dallas from 3 and lost by 1 point.

The Wolves have a great core - a really awesome core - Ant has 2 all-defensive teammates in Gobert and McDaniels, while KAT isn't bad defensively either - he played great defense on Jokic, while averaging about 20 ppg..
So Ant has a great defensive cast and the same kind of offensive help that MJ had.. He might have a little more because guys like Naz Reid, Conley and McDaniels are like rich man's versions of the role players that MJ had.
Ant simply has to learn how to carry his team like MJ did - this involves learning how to score a lot while maintaining chemistry and brand of ball - the team as a whole just needs to keep getting better.. They're just scraping the surface of what they could do.

Keep in mind the teams/players theyre playing AGAINST are also way better than what MJ faced. Players are just better throughout the league in general. So that part evens out. And then you just have to look at what is Ant Man doing at 22, vs. what did MJ do at 22? And from there it's case closed.

The 2015 Warriors were 1st-timers that barely beat an injured Cavs team, while the 98' Jazz destroyed Popovich/Duncan/Robinson and Shaq's 4 all-star Lakers to make the Finals - it's no comparison
The 98' Jazz were the kind of long-standing, organic juggernaut that usually destroys Lebron (similar to the Spurs or Nuggets), while the 15' Warriors were 1st-timers that were lucky Kyrie wasn't healthy..
The 90's West was the height of league parity - it was full of long-standing organic juggernauts that took turns making the Finals.. The team that represented the West went through a bloodbath and were having their banner year with everything going for them - they were a freight train heading into the Finals - this is what MJ beat every year to go 6-0.
look at what is Ant Man doing at 22, vs. what did MJ do at 22
You can't compare the winning of a 1st year team (22-year MJ) to the winning of a 4th year team (22-year Ant).
It's a cool little trick that was used to say 22-year Lebron was a better "winner" than 22-year MJ, and now people are trying it again - they're penalizing MJ for going to college.. It's funny because 18-year old Ant was going 5-13 in the SEC, while MJ was hitting the game-winning shot to win the national championship.
Anyway, this 22-year old comparison narrative is obviously false - the extra winning is due to Lebron and Ant having 4 years to develop a team, versus Jordan's 1st year team... History shows that Lebron had 3 years to develop a favored, high seed before entering the 06' playoffs, while Jordan was thrown into the playoffs in Year 1... Jordan's first playoff teams compare to Lebron's 2004 Cavs or Ant's lottery teams from 2022 or whatever year it was.

Why are you bringing up the warriors and cavs in 2015 ops talking about 2024 a different era. You can hype up the Jazz all you want jokic/Murray as a pnr duo is a lvl above Stockton/malone. They have a better supporting cast too than the Jazz Gordon/porter/kcp vs hornacek/Russell/ostertag. Then the next round you face Luka/Kyrie. Ik you’ve made threads on how good Jamal Murray and Kyrie are to tear down jokic/Luka so you can’t challenge my point. Ant has a lotta help sure so are the teams he faced.

stockton or penny never won with ball dominant stars and that's the hardest thing to do according to you

He's a mod alt.If you and I were posting like this we'd be permabanned. Note the upswing in threads while it's playoff season( increased board traffic, thus increased threads to capitalize). But you've got people here who keep seriously replying so there's no reason to stop( I stopped seriously replying like 3 years ago, you'd think the other long time posters would know better but nope).

Yeah Ant is 1-9 and a loser WITH pippen... that's the difference.
MJ was unbeatable with 1 all-star, while Ant was is a massive loser as the favorite with multiple decorated players (2x All-NBA KAT or 4x DPOY Gobert or All-Defensive McDaniels, or Naz 6th MOY)
Ant is supposed to carry KAT's 19/9/3 on 58 TS and 4x DPOY Gobert just like MJ carried Pippen... the "pippen" is supposed to only get about 19 on bad efficiency, so the pippen is the guy getting carried, not the guy saving
