Do the Mavs strike back in Dallas? What adjustments need to be made?

What's your prediction?

Mavs would seem likely to shoot well at least once out of four games. I think they get at least a split in Dallas. But it just hasnt looked like they match up well in the long run. My guess at this point is Beantown in 5.

Game 3 - Luka grimaces more in game 3 while playing his worst defense of the series but he doesn't care because he gets 30/10/7 (with 5 TOs). Kyrie plays below average. Brown has a very good game visibly outplaying Tatum. KP spends most of the game on the bench. Mavs lose by 20 but the "aw poor Luka!" narrative has been established. He wins MVP next season in part due to the later part of this season.

Game 4 - Kyrie has a freakish 40 point game shooting 80% from the field. Luka does ok but looks more hobbled. Brown has another good game. Tatum plays below average.

Game 5 - Luka tries to be an absolute hero ballhogging his way to 40/8/6 while playing no defense and Dallas lose by 12 points. Brown plays well. Tatum puts up 35/7/7 and hits the 3 point dagger before garbage time soon follows. Kyrie walks head down into the change rooms wondering if he should have joined LeBron and AD. Brown is awarded FMVP as Tatum smiles and claps for him but is secretly starting to have some feelings of jealousy.

Game 3- Luka has the f*ck you game to Jason Kidd, out there directing traffic and getting his teammates involved, while everytime passing by the Mavs bench mentally giving the 'too small' gesture to Kidd. Mavs loses as they get beat on 2nd chance opportunities, while Kidd publicly admits he has made 0 defensive adjustments for his team since this post has been made and only knows how to foul.

Hint: give up the corner 3 and bet on your bigs to out rebound while letting Kyrie play the passing lane.

Ha, unusually specific. Seems on the money.

Luka does the "too small" gesture to Kidd?

Yeah think they have the most to increase in terms of shooting, particularly Irving and role players.

Luka consistently gives you a near triple double stat line, win or lose, and you still can't read from that what the optimal line up should be.

it was quite prodigal of me to say a gun should be pulled on a poster like you. thank you, for periodically fufilling my prophecy.

always remember, while there's the option of asking question, there's also the option of being humble and admitting that's way over your pay grade.

boston in 5. going have a game where they blitz dallas from 3 and win even if I think luka/kyrie will be good game 3/4

I picked Mavs to win Game 2......serously!

I just thought Luka and Kyrie will do WCF and both give you near 30+ pts game.

Celtics are physical defensively. they are really quick on defenses too.

That porzingis guy is making the difference defensively around rim.

It maybe over in 5 games.

is the format 2-3-2? If so, Celtics in 6

If the format is 2-2-1-1-1, Celtics in 5

I don't see it. there's some fake narrative being passed around about Mavs being better skilled when that's just not the case.

Lively getting outplayed by KP has just been poor coaching, and lack of role definition and game plan for the 2nd unit.
Jones Jr. getting outplayed by White has been about the lack of roll plays and assits within the painted area.

who cares, Kidd is going to make the bench start chucking up 3's, and the moment Mavs starts getting into foul troubles, it'll be all about the refs rigged it for Celtics.

I thought Doncic and Irving would have a come-back game as well. Doncic did but Irving didn't get the memo. The problem is that the talent fizzles out pretty seriously after those two while the Celtics have a lot of other guys who can be depended on.

So far both are having solid Game 3's. Irving efficient at 5-9.

Yea and Boston hasn’t blitzed from 3. Only Tatum playing well so maybe this is game Dallas wins but I lean boston. Imagine rest of starting lineup plays better
