View Full Version : Ron Artest claimed LeBron James could have made the league at age 15

Could you imagine the implications if this were actually allowed? LeBron, age 15 holding his own against guys like 38 year old MJ, Artest etc just like the pickup games. :biggums:

I doubt he would dominate MJ btw. But if he could legit just hold his own. Hold MJ to an average of 20 points or whatever when they match up, get himself some points...15... Could you imagine what this forum would even look like? What the clowns on ESPN etc would be saying? Skip Bayless would be living under a bridge in a cardboard box somewhere. I dare say basketball discussion would be in a much more healthy place. All the MJ loving casual basketball fans would have went and found something else to do rather than be the toxic clouds hanging around anything basketball related. :confusedshrug:

I find it interesting. Hard to believe in ways, but if Ron says it who am I to call bs? LeBron is a freak athlete afterall. :confusedshrug:

the real concept behind this is that he probably didn't practice high school rules at 15.

LBJ was always blessed with athletic body. probably grew and matured physically faster than anyone.

But this alone dont mean he can average even a 4 PPG at age 15 in NBA.

2004 NBA, the rules were being more and more relaxed unlike 90s decade. Kobe and AI benefitted hugely going on scoring binges on wild shots low efficiency. Hand checking was illegal now.

2004 Pistons again showed. Even in that mid-2000 decade relaxed, open offensive lane era, a good, solid, descipline defense can beat a super stacked team in NBA Finals.

This rambling and incoherent mess is one of the worst posts i’ve ever seen. lmao

Idk about 15, but I definitely think he could've been a starter after his junior year of high school.
