“Dallas letting Porzingis go” narrative will be all time insane if 3-0 comeback occur

If Porzingis either doesn’t play again…

… or does play but is a significant net negative …

… or God forbid, plays and gets injured even worse…
(Which this specific injury has the potential of)

AND

If for 3 games,
Dallas can play physical big boy ball,
and push pace, with Boston lacking any real size or rim protection …
….instead of settling for step backs against Boston superior 3pt efficiency …

… imagine that historical narrative.

Not only would it be the first ever 3-0 comeback in NBA Finals history…

But the fact Boston dominated game 1 when Porzingis played very well…

… then collapses with Porzingis getting injured AGAIN, at the worst time possible.

It would be one of the alltime most tragic and enigmatic narratives of the modern NBA.

It would play directly into the somewhat dead horse beaten narrative that porzingus is a legit player but will never be healthy. It’s like a poor man’s embiid.
