I bet he could get a career in politics in Texas or some other red state.
He's obviously a guy who likes to speak his mind and he's very well liked among all kinds of people.
Bet he could win a conservative local seat in Texas or maybe Arkansas.

RIP to the best remaining part of the NBA. Inside the NBA will be lacking without him.

I think the shows cancelled when the TV rights move to other networks.
The next five years are going to really suck without Ernie Johnson, Michael Wilbon, Bob Ryan, and Charles Barkley

Out of all the sports broadcasters and analysts Barkley is by far the best I've ever seen. His comedy is outrageous. I'll never forget his big Ole women in San Antonio rants. :lol He had Shaq crying like a baby in laughter.

everyone says ernie is the glue guy on Inside the NBA, and that may be so...but the comedy starts and stops with Chuck. Ernie may know how to reel everyone in and keep some semblance of an organized show, but Chuck is the one making everyone laugh. Show will never be on the same level without him. I'm sure Amazon or another network/studio will try to pick up the rest of the TNT cast.

Barkley's primary value is entertainment by way of saying controversial things. As an analyst, he's below-average.
The whole "retirement" thing sounds like a publicity stunt. He gets highly paid for second-rate analysis on account of him being a former player and saying wacky things. What else is he qualified to do but that? He'll be back.

This is true, but the comedy he brings more than makes up for it. Can't count how many times he has made me crack up.
BTW, this show was better before Shaq joined it.

In Bexar County, where San Antonio is located, 65.7% of adults are overweight or obese. In Texas, 32.4% of children aged 10-17 are overweight or obese. https://archive.cdc.gov/www_cdc_gov/nccdphp/dch/programs/communitiesputtingpreventiontowork/communities/profiles/obesity-tx_sanantonio.htm#:~:text=In%20Bexar%20County%2C%2 0where%20San,17%20are%20overweight%20or%20obese.
How the hell are 33% of teenagers obese? I remember eating whatever I can get my hands on at that age, not all good things either and couldn't gain an ounce.

It's amusing to me that Barkley's made more money talking about basketball than he has playing it. Though I guess it could also be said MJ's made more money selling basketball apparel than playing basketball.

Barkley is literally for square bears who have never heard a real mofo speak their mind.
If you’ve actually lived a real life Barkley is no more than an average human idiot pumping gums.
