If he wants a huge contract then no thanks, but if maybe a sign and trade contract could be done with THJ, then he'd definitely be a great fit for Mavs.

Warriors made the right move but this is concerning.... he'll find a way to be a Laker and I don't think a back court of Dlo & Klay is any good in 2024/2025.

Still better than anything that was paired with Kobe post 2013.

Well no shit, he had a career-altering injury & they went into tank mode. This is basically the same as post-achilles Kobe paired with a young Dlo in 2016 tbh.

Warriorfan? How can any warrior fan trash on the guy that made them what they are?
In every single championship the Warriors got he was a big part of it! He was their closer and best guy on so many games. As soon as he got injured Warriors couldn't even make the playoffs anymore lol.
Yeah he has declined and should be on his way out, but should be treated with respect for what he did all those years. Without him the Warriors would have 0 rings.
Steph and Dray surrounded by an amazing team clearly showed how they would have gone nowhere without him. Idk how the conversations went, but dude is right to say fu** you if they didn't treat him properly at the end. Even back then when they were a fully force, there are so many articles showing how the Warriors struggled without Klay. They better give the man a statue and not sh** on the guy that gave you all that glory lol.

Dumb post you responded to for sure. But Klay was a huge part of the whole thing the warriors had. He's one of the best shooters ever and the gravity of having him on the court with Steph at the same time was difficult.
I know you like most are more loyal to Steph than anyone else, as you should be. But Klay was a dude. Even when he wasn't going off the threat of it was always there and had to accounted for.

He needs to follow Lebron on ig, ASAP.
I'm not sure it's a good move for the Lakers to sign him. I just mean on general principle, he should be following Lebron on IG.

Hey hey hey
Lets slow our roll here
The overrating of klay thompson just needs to stop
I mean he’s a nice player but realistically his defense has been overrated for along ass time, even well before the injury. He played good team defense with the warriors system but he wasn’t clamping anyone out there. He’s only made one 2nd defensive team. He’s never excelled according to advanced on/off impact metrics.
On offense he is a good spacer but he’s also a black hole on offense and can’t really dribble…
his career regular season/post season TS% is 57/55 respectively….thats like Kobe Bryant territory whom I know you guys like to tout as a paragon of inefficiency…..while Klay being a 2nd or third option and getting wide open looks while not needing to force more volume

I wasn’t trying to lump you in there. I was getting at that a lot of the guys who like klay for agenda reasons don’t realize he scores at a similar efficiency to kobe bryant (who they like to say was inefficient)
I watched a lot of always sunny when it came out but i stopped watching it. I did see some episodes recently and they still seemed good. I’m not sure if I know the reference but it sounds like some dennis shit :lol

Fair enough. I've never been an agenda type dude for the most part but Klay was excellent for spacing. In his prime one of the best shooters there's been. Slightly streakier than some but when hot can win any game almost on his own. Teams were always thinking about that I'd imagine.

Lot yea it peaked in seasons 4-5ish but that paragon thing was a Charlie-ism that Dennis immediately got confused by the stupidity and corrected :lol

It's tough to let the end of a dynasty go, but I think it's over for them as a group. Curry is still just barely good enough to get it done as the man but the chances that the Warriors are able to successfully build around him this late are very slim.
Letting him go is the wise decision for the team but very tough emotionally. He still has not accepted that he is not the player he was 8 years ago. We see it all the time.

Exactly. I've been saying they should move him this offseason while he still has solid trade value, and let him continue to pursue more team success elsewhere while he still can.
If he doesnt want to do that? He should just retire. Like why stick around for the treadmill? Well of course the answer is to collect a fat check without any pressure. But why fans would want that? It has to do with the reflection of themselves fans often project onto their ball player idols. Look at that one poster whose name Im blanking on, but he still believes D Rose is like, BITW. He cant let go of the rope because his whole identity is built around being Rose's personal cheerleader. If Rose falls off, this guy has no next page to turn to. There is no plan B for his self esteem. He needs Rose to keep being the hero he's always seen him as. There's an actual neurosis involved that will psychologically stress him at the mere thought of what's next after he can't stan Rose anymore. He's not ready for it. He's like a wild deer trapped in an enclosure with a human. The psychological stress is so intense it'd cause him convulsions. He'd panic and start to vomit. There are legitimately fans out there who secretly would rather their favorite player die at his peak than have to stan a guy who's fading into irrelevance. They cant cope with the idea of just... not being a stan. They got addicted to the high of being self-attached to a guy who was at the peak of popularity and success, and for a time it was all good. The team moving on from that guy is then like a prick to the balloon, a balloon that is the fantasy they still cling to. It's like waking them up from a great dream theyre still trying to carry on.
There's actually a fair amount of people out there like that tbh.

Klay peaked as a top 10-15 player in 2015
After that, he never even top 30.
In 2024 Klay was like top 100.
They've got to let him go along with Wiggins and CP

Dray and Klay were just as important as Steph for the success they had. Without one of them they would have 0 rings. When Curry was missing in the playoffs they still were winning without him. But without Klay, the Warriors didn’t even made the playoffs.
They needed the 3 plus great players around, take one of the 3 out and they’d have never won. You have to be a total retard to trash on the guy that gave your team all that glory. I agree that he has to go and is by far no longer the player he was back then, but that doesn’t mean you get to disrespect what he did.
Well, with iggy now gone for good, it's not surprising they've started to crumble ever since and might just get worse with this bad news.
Btw, what's up with him starting to follow banchy on IG?

I don't think there's a more pathetic loser in this site than you, and that's saying something on ish. :lol I've never seen anyone so sad and pathetic that thinks about a player 24/7 that they hate just because they stopped their favorite player from winning more. I would say get a life but we all know that's never happening.

This should have happened earlier though, Steph is going to be 37 next season. This season, he looked old. Probably around the same level he was in 13/14 season, noticeably below what we've expected out of him for most of the last decade. His defense was poor and lazy, and he was playing way too much hero ball (I thought I was watching Harden at times). A huge issue with the team and the coach coaching like a lunatic, is these lineups and roster construction. Too many guards playing at once, too many guys that can't play defense where the old timer Steph is working defensively more than ever.
Now even if they make changes, it may be too late because Steph is too damn old. They missed their opportunity during the 21 and 22 seasons (and the summer post-championship).

Klay was a beast though. I'd take him on any team. Everyone would argue about like do you want klay or beal or (some other SG who can create their shot but isn't a great 3 and D guy.) He was definitely an all star as a a 3 and D role player, that's more valuable than you think. Gives something without taking anything away.
The only problem is he got super washed. So did dray though. I imagine Klay in the right situation can reinvigorate himself. It's gonna be a lil funny to watch unless dude gets injured again. It makes no sense to me that dude forgot how to shoot.

I’m a real Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors fan. A real west coast mofo who has lived all over the west.
And all I can say is Heiyweight and warriors fan are the most annoying outright retarded fans I’ve ever come across.
Makes me sad rooting for the same teams these dudes root for.
Straight up reactionary drug addict alcoholic clowns who have no experience outside their own areas so they cry and bitch every time their team craps out.

I’ve seen your posts and you just don’t know a lot about basketball.
I’m giving non homer takes, Klay has fallen off a cliff and refused to take a lesser role, and has been extremely childish throughout the whole process.
You don’t want to make the mistake the giants did and keep over paying guys who are way past their prime just because they were around for a few titles
If your definition of a fan is having no accountability and no criticisms when your team makes short sighted moves that will have negative effects lasting potentially for years to come….
Then I’m sorry, that is not a fan, you are just a shill and a cuck. It’s pretty pathetic.

All a team is, is a unit composed of individual players.
I’ll give guys on the team benefit of the doubt in most situations but there becomes a point where you need to take off the homer goggles and start to be real.
