Stevens needs to find another big that can defend at a high level and hit jumpers. That's sort of Tillman but he can't block shots. Porzingis might have to be kept to 40 games a season and even then could still misses a lot of playoff games, so there's got to be another big. I'm not saying to get rid of porzingis by the way, not at all, just that the Celtics need another big more than anything. Multiple titles are possible but this has to be addressed.

They can and probably should win next year as well. Then for the summer of 2025 you have Tatum and Derrick White in free agency, likely to lose White, and Horford maybe retiring or at the least continuing to decline. Then for the summer of 2026 Porzingis is a free agent.

Holiday is still excellent defensively but he just turned 34 and people typically don't stay excellent defensively in their mid to late 30s.

If they somehow retain everyone and just ride it out until they become corpses they might get 2 more, in the most optimistic of outcomes. My guess is next year and then no more, which is still pretty great. Most teams would kill to even get the 1.

They strike me more as a potential quasi-dynasty like the Spurs: they'll be a perennial contender (as they already have been for several seasons and counting) and possibly win multiple titles over time, but they'll struggle to actually repeat due to various circumstances.

Better teams than them have failed to win back to back, and their road to the championship isn't bound to get any easier. Nuggets will probably bolster up their roster (as they failed to last off-season) and come back more motivated, and odds are the league in general will be healthier come next postseason.

I imagine Al will hang it up after winning it all, so you'll need to replace a big that can shoot, defend the perimeter, and be able to make some moves in the paint. Idk who falls under that criteria at this point, but I put my faith in Brad to find that player.

They the NBA similar to the Atlanta Braves from the 90's. The trips to the conference finals year after year does matter and have value. Are they going to win another ring...maybe...are they going to win two more and really make a case...no that's not going to happen.
