I finally watched enough of Luka this post-season and finals.

Luka is a guy who needs "dominant big man", NBAs best for lob passes and All-Defensive rim protector. AD is that guy.

Luka lacks conditioning and stamina. Strength is NOT an issue for his 6'7" wide body frame. He still got his 29 PPG in finals.

LBJ's conditioning, PEDs workout and eating habits (taco tuesday) will negate Luka's lack thereof.

Kyrie just aint enough for Luka. There is no substitute for 6'8" ATG Bball handler. Kyrie and Luka are too similar players.

Luka should call LBJ and tell him to join MAVS instead of SUNS and take that pay cut.

Luka + LBJ + Kyrie could win ONE championship in 7 game finals. Luka will be FMVP as primary scorer 30-32 PPG.

LBJ being passive assist man. Together, in LBJ and Kyrie, Luca will be given enough championship DNA to close out Game 7.

Instead of Kyrie, Luca + LBJ + AD will defend a ring in back-2-back 7 game Finals. imo.

Much has to do with Luka giving that MJ'isque 30-32 ppg finals. in ages 26-29. and leader and back-2-back FMVPs.

Throw in Paul George and KD while you're at it.

Lebron can opt out and come to Dallas but he won't be able to bring AD. And I don't think you would want that. You might be able to move Kyrie to Miami for Butler and the 15th pick (you would likely move Green and Kleiber)

PG - CPIII, Bronny Jr(58)
SG - Luka, Hardaway
SF - Butler, Washington
PF - Lebron, Eddey(15)
C - Lively, Gafford

Lebron and CPIII could both sign for team friendly deals seeing as how they both have other avenues for income

I would rather have Irving than Butler at this point. Both guys have missed a lot of games over the years but with Butler being the more recent playoffs absentee and a bit older Irving is the safer option. I am assuming he's done with missing games for unpredictable goofball reasons.

Also James is not playing for less than the max.

Yes. We already know that you're pretty much just pointing out one thing; that he's needing all the help he can get for his current age.

Jimmy would be playing for his last contract...you'd have Jimmy and Lebron as 2nd options for Luka with Butler being a significantly better defender.

For Dallas going all in this year and planing for Luka/Lively/Eddey for your future would be the smart move for the Mav's.

I doubt this Dallas team is going to be good enough to get out of the first round next year as is.
