Over Pippen and MJ? You have to take into consideration the cost savings of having 2 pippens and being able to sign a 3rd star

Yes it would mean they never would have a title. I mean Malone and Stockton never won why would two Pippen's win when Pippen never won league nor finals nor DPOY?

Hard to get better than 6 titles.

Better team? Maybe. Better result? Very unlikely.

Double the Pips, Double the Chips.

Facts. If you eliminate MJ’s salary Bulls could afford Hakeem and Robinson and 2 pippens on the same team. Let that sink in

30-point playoff games

Tatum............. 29 in 113 games
Brown............. 13 in 104 games
Pippen.............. 6 in 208 games

Pippen wasn't the kind of guy that could come out and start taking over like Tatum and Brown

Stop it

It's night and day - Pippen was just a dunker and transition player or system player with low peak capability (not on scouting report according to Shaq) - his ceiling would be Shawn Marion or Iguoudala in today's game or Derrick Jones Jr floor.. Remember that Pippen was a 23-year old rookie that averaged 8 ppg, so he needed to land in the perfect spot to get all the development that he needed - he obviously did alongside the first DPOY/MVP in history.

Double the Pips, Double the Chips.

Double the Pips, Double the Quit in playoffs

Double the Pips, Double the hate on Kukoc for contractual reasons.

Double the Pips, Double the racist Coach Phil Jackson will be.

Double the Pips, Double the snatch MJ's son will be tapping.

Pip would rather sit in the corner than imbounding the ball to the other Pip

Double the Pip, double the migraines

Better than winning 6 titles in an 8 year span? With 5 of them winning 60+ games? How much better could it get?

Can you believe.

Sir Charles left $9 mil on the table and took veterans minimum so 99 Pip could join 1999 HOU!

I got respect for barkley man!.

All that money left on table only to hear from 1999 Pips calling out charles as "fat butt"

Glad, Barkley is milking that TNT Bball show with millions.

Karma is a beach. broke pip paying for it now.

double the Pips, double the snatch, MJs son will be tapping

corrected.

the latter is more realistic and can be derived from the actual facts.

Jordan wasn't on that much more then Pip was he? Till 97 or so when he got the 30 mil

Facts. If you eliminate MJ’s salary Bulls could afford Hakeem and Robinson and 2 pippens on the same team. Let that sink inJordan made 30 in 97 and 33 in 98. Before that, the most he made in a season was 4 mil, while Pippen made around 3 and a half. And Pippen was pretty abysmal and injury prone in 97 and 98 so suggesting replacing Jordan when they literally won in real life is a weird take.

And no, you don’t win more with 2 Pippens. This finals should have taught us this lesson, a team can overachieve and make the ecf or even the finals like Dallas, but people are still saying they need to retool because their run seemed a bit ‘flukey’. MJ is the ultimate playoff riser and isolation scorer, the most important skill to have in a 7 game series. Not only is he the goat iso scorer, he’s also excellent off the ball and can score in the flow of the game when his teammates are cooking which maximizes his team’s ceiling.

Nah, two Scottie's would've self imploded at some point on their own. Needed Kukoc to bail him out in 1994 to keep that series respectable, in Portland with several other good players he watched helplessly as the Lakers took over the 4th quarter to basically seal a Finals trip.

I think 2 scotties would resemble Tatum and Browns duo a bit, because they'd be closer in both skill and pecking order. I honestly think if Pippen and Mj had been drafted within a year of each other fhe dynamic would have been completely different too.

except that 1988 Pippen was GARBAGE 8 PPG player.

1989 Pippen was still GARBAGE

1990 Pippen was somewhat OK.

1987 Pippen was drafted highly on POTENTIAL. Someone MJ can help develop into perfect SIDEKICK.

in so many words, He wasn't even JR Rider level coming out of NCAA.

It took Pippen and Grant full 3 years despite NCAA to develop into solid offensive and defensive players.
