It's more evidence that Lebron wasn't that good well into the 2010's by virtue of being unable to perform against Finals teams - this includes getting locked up by the 07' Spurs, 08' Celtics, 10' Celtics and 11' Mavs (with epic meltdown in 10' & 11').
2013 was another choke-job but Ray Allen saved him from losing in 6 games with 23 on 43% stats...
And in 2009, Lebron had his biggest bed-wetting by losing to an injured, 1-star team as -700 favorite with a 6th year, organic league favorite - he lost by becoming a 12 turnover per game player in clutch-time and also having the goat defensive choke, aka deciding to guard Courtney Lee to save energy instead of his own position that was controlling the action for the Magic (Hedo).. He also had 7 turnovers in the 4th and OT of the critical Game 4, while being dominated by Dwight, which swung the series... So accept it - your guy is a fraud and the evidence piles up as times goes by.

Everyone acknowledges Lebron choked in 2011 already. It’s not like those averages get omitted from his finals stats or anything. 07 he was a 22 year old. Every other player under 24 gets a “he’s young, give him time” and most of them don’t even lead a team to the finals.

22-year old Amare averaged 37 on 55% against the 05' Spurs, while Magic was FMVP at 20 years old, or MJ broke the playoff record at 23 (while the 23-year old Lebron was locked up against the 08' Celtics with 26 on 35%).
So quit with the age excuse - lebron stunk beyond recognition in the 07' Finals or 08' ECSF and it's a massive black mark on his resume because many other 22-23 year olds played great against the same comp.. Heck, 23-year Durant averaged 33 in the 12' Finals, while 23-year Lebron was locked up by the 08' Celtics (26 on 35%).
Lebron simply couldn't perform against championship comp in 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2011, while also getting massively upset in 2009 by a 1-star team because Lebron was a turnover machine in the clutch and choked down the stretch of every game (Cavs lost 3 fourth quarter leads in the series)., and also guarded Courtney Lee instead of Hedo (who was controlling the action)
So quit with the excuses.. it's so sad for his fans to need excuses all the time, for someone that purports to be #2 all-time.. he obviously isn't #2 or anywhere near

Lebron James first title in 2012 was during a lockout season where he defeated OKC, if you remember OKC’s best players Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, were ages 22 and 23 respectfully
So if LeBron James gets excused for underperforming in not only his first finals at age 22, but also his second finals at age 26!! …
Kevin Durant and Westbrook played better in their first finals at 22 and 23 than Lebron did in his first TWO finals at ages 22 and 26
So if you want to excuse LeBron’s first Finals choke or even his second on “Young player with not enough experience”, you have to asterisk or extremely devalue his 2012 Lockout ring because it was won vs players in the same (or even worse) circumstance.
It’s a two way street.

It’s okay point remains the same.
If LeBron gets a pass for his choke in 2007 because of his age, then we have to devalue his 2012 ring since both Westbrook and Durant were just as inexperienced as Lebron was during his 2007 choke.

it was a bit of empty stats, still choked in big moments…didn’t quite have what it takes, lights too bright, it takes most players at least one finals trip to figure it out, hell it took Lebron james 2 Finals trips and aging past 26 before he got over it.

LeBron gets a pass for 2007 because not only was he young, but he had a shit cast around him going up against a dynasty.
Thunder in 2012 beat those same dynasty Spurs and were favorites to beat Miami in the Finals.
Completely different situations.

No.
22 year olds with no finals experience get a pass with the lebron crew
that’s why lebron’s 2012 lockout ring is double asterisks.

And how did those 22 year olds beat an experienced Spurs team with Duncan, Parker, & Ginobili all in their 30's?
Hell, they beat Kobe & Gasol in the same playoffs.
But it somehow doesn't count if LeBron beats them. :oldlol:
You sound clueless.

It wasn’t the finals yet. The lights weren’t bright enough yet.
Remember bron was handling biz in the ECF in 2007, it wasn’t until he got to the Finals where the lights got too bright…and he shrank in the moment.
Same story with 2011, LeBron was doing his thing for the entire playoffs….until the Finals. The lights got too bright again for Lebron, even it being his second Finals appearance, even being aged 26, an 8 year veteran in the league, the lights still were too bright for LeBron…
Even when he joined the second and fourth highest per in the league, in a collusion move in a historically weak eastern conference, gathering the best players from the conference to already further weaken the already historically weak conference, only to promise not one not two not three not four not five not six….and have it universally accepted by the sports media as what will happen….Only for the stage to be too big, the lights too bright.

This sounds like some ESPN Skip Bayless shit take.
The fact is LeBron lost because he had a shit cast around him and the Spurs played a bunch of zone which forced LeBron to take a bunch of jumpers, this was when he still had a broken jumper. Please leave your low IQ ESPN takes out of here.
Seriously, this is what you sound like.

Mavs in 6 barring injury. I don’t trust Tatum and Brown in the clutch like I do Luka and Kyrie.
if they aren’t hitting their 3’s and they let it get to a tight game they are in trouble
warriorfan's explanation to why he picked Dallas over Boston in the Finals. "I don't trust Tatum and Brown in the clutch". Agreeing with TheMan93
Another low IQ Skip Bayless ESPN take.
Here is how it's done.
Surprised majority of people here are picking Mavs, I want them to win, but my head says Boston takes this in 5 or 6.
They have dominated all season, point differential of +11.4 during the regular season which is the best since the 2017 Warriors. A well rounded team that has the best offense in the NBA and a top 3 defense, from top to bottom they have more talent than Dallas and they will have Porzingis ready to go in the Finals. Luka is the best player in this series, but Boston has the better team.

That only holds up if we’re discrediting the Spurs title for beating a 22 year old Lebron. Which no one does. Though, that title should get discredited because the suns got robbed by the refs.

Lebron’s 2007 choke gets excused because he was 22 years old in his first final
Therefore it’s established that 22 year olds in their first finals are inherently flawed
Therefore it devalues LeBron’s first Championship as he was now 27 years old with 2 finals already under his belt, in his 9th season, as he faced a 22 and 23 year old Russel and Durant in their first Finals.
Add to the fact that all of this is on top of a lock out season.
