Since you're continuing the LeBron23 gimmick, career wise? I'm not even going to bother addressing LeBron or Curry, but the rest

It'd be hard to say KD underachieved when he's going to go down as a top 15-20 player of all time, but his teams have definitely underachieved outside of Golden State, esp since he's left the Warriors. The Nets were a historic embarrassment and the Suns have been a massive failure too.

I think you'd have to consider CP3 at least somewhat of an underachievement. He had numerous occasions where his team failed/choked pretty spectacularly (2014, 2015, 2021, 2022).

Westbrook absolutely overachieved. This was a guy who had the bball IQ the size of a peanut and he went on to become an MVP, perennial All-NBA First Team player for several years, and will be considered at minimum a top 50 player of all time just based off his resume.

Butler definitely overachieved taking two lower seeded Heat teams to the Finals, then coming within a shot of taking them to a 3rd. His regular season achievements do leave a little to be desired though.

Harden put up straight up GOAT tier production in the regular season, was an MVP, led the league in scoring and assists, but absolutely nobody could look at his playoff exploits and consider him anything other than an underachiever, frankly a historic one looking strictly at his playoff performance.

PG underachieved to me. This dude was mega talented, had a super smooth game, could look elite on both ends, yet he never quite morphed into the top 5 player he probably should have been. He also routinely was disappointing in the playoffs.

Lillard I honestly don't think deserves either designation. He achieved about as much as you'd expect individually and with Portland. Sure, it would've been nice to see the Blazers have a little more playoff success, but I think he took that team about as far as could be expected.

If what they say is true that the lakers were a real superteam, kong would have underachieved.

In terms of draft hype? None of them really underachieved if we are being honest.

For all the shit Harden gets, I didn't expect him to be a 30 PPG player and win MVP once he left OKC.

The only player I would say underachieved based off the hype he was getting when he was 22/23 years old is probably Paul George.
