With, what, Tobias Harris and Lowry's skeleton around them?
Does that scare you?
Are you scared of that?

Tobias isn’t a Sixer anymore. George doesn’t want to come to the East. Lowry still a free agent as well. What are you talking about?

So then who are they even sticking in a uniform to run with Tyrese and Joel next year?
The reports for months have been that they cleared all this cap space to sign PG. Do they really feel that's a trio that makes a run with no support?
And if he's not coming, whom are they targetting??

I think there's a good chance that PG ends up in GS. Makes more sense than the Philly move.

You literally can't trust Embiid to be healthy for a playoff run, and when he does play, he almost always underperforms. So no, a 34 year old PG going there does not put them over the top imo.

Embiid and Maxey is a duo. Maxey was brilliant in the Knicks series.

PG aint winning anything with GSW or PHL or whoever.
His is washed up.
At 35, he is a shadow of himself.

Yup. Jamal Murray last year to this year should still be fresh in fans minds.

The Clippers traded Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Danilo Gallinari and the rights to seven first-round draft picks for George in the summer of 2019, as they were also in the process of recruiting Leonard to L.A. This past season marked the first time George played more than 56 games in a season for the Clippers. They signed Kawhi Leonard thinking he was the missing piece to win a championship. Instead he has become the primary reason they will not win a championship. Imagine what they could have done with SGA, cap space, and seven first round picks. They basically could be the Thunder right now.

This. Like him and steph would be fun and of course there's gonna be games one or both catch fire and shoot themselves to wins but that team isnt going going anywhere in a post season

yes if they get a 4th starter. lowry/batum is fine as 5th guy with oubre off bench. Sixers fans are really pushing a lauri trade with paul reed and every pick/swap they have. Embiid/Maxey/George/Markkanen should scare any team in nba history

If they got George AND Lauri, and kept Batum, I guess that'd be pretty good. Tho I still think the lack of depth plus Playoff Joel makes it more of a paper tiger than anything.

Nah he's not washed yet. His production was the same as it's been the past 5 years and he played 74 games/missed the least amount of games since his last season in OKC.
And credit to him for keeping up his numbers for the most part despite having Kawhi, Harden AND Russ on the team. He was as efficient as ever & had career-highs in FG%, 3PT%, FT% & TS%.

lowry/drummond can be signed for vet mins; oubre for bae. It is a paper tiger sure but gotta respect a team with joel and 3 all stars

They for sure want PG or Jimmy Butler for that matter. I don’t see PG coming to Philly (nor do I want him).

I'm more intimidated by the Pacers,Knicks and Celtics
PG is 35 this time next year and is a known playoff choker, and Embiid is always "injured" come playoff time

The nets are lottery bound. Why are you not intimidated by teams that will threaten that #1 pick? Playoff teams are not in your conversation.

The Celtics took the two best lottery picks in Nets history. GM might be thinking Al Horford looks real good for a 37 year-old...

Every center in the league is afraid of Joel embiid. Just ask them off the record with no cameras around

That Knee is literally arthritis stricken now. Embiid career is on last leg or last knee, pun intended.
Lucky Embiid is gonna be still in Prime at 31.
Can PG rebound, attack basket? play defense like he use to. no.
Celtics will take care of sixers in 5 games imo.
MIA is still there too. Sixers are still 3rd best. Much has to do with Embiid on one knee.

They have a healthy fear of each other...some ppl call it respect some call it healthy fear
Remember when booker was in the discussion for best sg in the league.....feels like that was a lifetime ago
Bk Nets are a laughing stock. And you have a fan that had the audacity to run his pie hole

No one has ever been scared of the sixers... pathetic franchise and a even more pathetic star player they've built around.
Embiid wont win a chip unless he bandwagons in his later years.

I haven't played a basketball video game since NBA Jam was cool so I wonder how Simmons goes from 87 to 66. I know his real world production is down but physically there is nothing he did before that he can't do now. So how do they make that adjustment? He's still 6'10, still strong and athletic, same dribble ability, same court vision. So how do they digitally quantify "won't take layups because he's scared of shooting free throws and also must miss a lot of games without an obvious injury."

That... is a scary trio. Assuming embiid shows up in the playoffs for once they could make some noise if healthy.
