I've watched a lot of basketball. I rarely say shit for absolute certain because of all of the factors that are involved, but you are raw hating if you don't see it. She's not even really shooting well right now. She needs to learn her team, but she is out there, as I said in another thread, more like Steve Nash than Curry. She pulls it, but she is better at passing than getting her shot off. She can make a pass to anyone at any time, almost. Her team doesn't have good sets to get her looks. I wonder if their coach will get fired. But she can go a whole quarter without getting a good look or touch if the other team sets it up right. That's unacceptable.

She def needs someone on her staff to work that out. You got her and Boston, that's gg. They already make some great connections. There's no way that you should be able to keep the Fever from A. Clark shot, B. Boston lay up C. Wide open 3. But it happens. Quite a bit, really. We'll see how they end the year.

Shes different, and yeah players are having insane impact. ItÂ’s different when you are a guard though. If you come in at 6Â’4 and have skill you can do a lot more.

Clark could be a scorer and a real pg. She could do 20 10 which is above and beyond any wnba player. SheÂ’s got her teammates making passes like she does because they realize itÂ’s possible. She is getting a lot of boards, but they are westbrook boards. Still it will pump her stat line. She is a triple double threat, she will shoot better, she will turn it over less (although she does a lot of handling and makes the tough passes so she gets the majority of team turn overs.) They get a lot of assists.

If indy makes playoffs she had a great rookie year. They started awful.

She is just a different type of player is all. She is gonna develop her resume thru wins more than anything.

I'm interested in all basketball, even women's. Yes, I tried to watch the WNBA even back when they were using a men's ball and scoring like 40 ppg. I don't know every part of the history, but I know a lot of the players, more so an older generation than this generation though, so yeah Taurasi is definitely known.

She's just different. That's all I can say.

WNBA games are funny as hell man. Shawk can probably attest to this play last night, but I did tune in for a few minutes myself since there was nothing else to watch. Her teammates aren't that trash. I haven't watched every minute of every game, but I check up on it enough. In their right positions, they have a little squad. Their front line is good (but young.) Boston, their C is learning how to play even better, and their PF, Smith, is another rebounder/finisher type. They gave it to Smith on the break and she double dribbled, though, so she's not ready to do all that.

Then they got this little girl, Kelsey Mitchell, who is like Barbosa or Ivo, just nasty and fast. She is a dog, too. She blocked someone to secure a win recently. She's like 5'9. But she crosses so well. GOBB was talking about Arike being a walking bucket, but this girl is saucy as hell, too. They have enough to get it right, I think. People do need to make their shots, but so does Caitlin. They are doing really well considering how badly they started. Like I told GOBB, she's gonna get 20 pts 10 assist average and that's GOAT level in WNBA imo. Even with 5 turnovers, if it comes to that.

It's kinda like wow at some of the weirdo shit they do sometimes, but it's not bad. The whole team is throwing good passes. It's worth watching for awhile. Better than NO basketball.

i didn't know pre-CC nor do I know currently. i don't think I'll ever know on my own accord.

What I do know is that unless you've been living under a rock the past 3 years, the WNBA has been in the spotlight more and more. IDK if it's coordinated efforts from the NBA primarily, but the media and NBA players have been promoting the hell out of it. When Mikal was still in Phoenix, he'd regularly post pics on his social media of himself attending Mercury games. And the Sabrina vs Curry shooutout didn't just happen out of thin air, it's because more WNBA fans are appearing. Her 'special' skillset does change the whole game and make it more interesting, but it's also pretty damn funny that all of these girls have been pretending they could ball for their whole life and some girl out of college is beasting them and telling them to stop crying. Even if you think women's bball sucks, you should enjoy watching her ride on people.

Yeah, it's funny when she passes it to someone on the break and they throw it off the bottom of the backboard or straight up double dribble, but it's whatever. I know some people might think this is crazy, but for whatever reason, I chose to watch a decent amount of her games. Not all of the games, but enough to figure out what was gonna happen, so maybe like 20-30 min, unless it was close enough to be interesting. I swear her teammates are actually better at basketball now, too. As I think I posted here, they are starting to make much better passes and move better. It's like they are realizing new shit.

I watched the olympic tournament a bit and the only players I liked were Gabby Williams, Ionescu and A Ja Wilson. While they all still played under the rim their game at least had some resemblence of male's basketball. Williams drove a lot and has a good pull up midrange game. Wilson is good from the high post and Ionescu plays some good off ball cuts and curls.
Williams definately was the closest to a real basketball amongst those 3.

Seeing how Clark, who plays the same way, but with higher range and better passing gets treated by the dyke league I can see why Williams decided to go back to europe.

A week from today I'm going to participate in a clinical trial that'll pay me 7.2k for a 17 day stay. in fact while i'm there i'm going to launch a website with a ton of different stuff (analyzing california's political candidates, blogging about sports related stuff, some other things).

my parents also help me with living expenses because they're supportive of what I'm trying to do, and I also saved them all that money they saved up for college by not actually going for more than a year.

i also just go on craigslist and find stuff to make a quick few bucks. a lot of the tv shows and gameshows that tape during the weekday out here pay you to go sit in the audience for a few hours, so i do that once in a while. if you're intelligent, articulate, and presentable and you look around, you can find ways to make money out here.

This is sort of making my point. Youve been stewing about my comment for a day and a half and frantically dug thru every old post you think may belong to me to find some sort of "ammo" for revenge. And it hardly amounts to a poke in the eye for me. Not even that. What you posted doesnt bother me in the least and Ill forget about it as soon as I close ISH.

But obviously youre struggling with some big picture things. Unfortunately it's extremely hard to change 'flaws' that are simply coded into each of our own unique personalities. We all have them. I struggle with it too. We are who we are. Even when we dont want to be.

Im long past the days of going back and forth, back and forth with you exchanging personal insults. It's just not interesting conversation for me anymore. And we dont really have much in common as far as interests. So theres just not much for me to really say to you.

Anyway, wish you the best. I do think the way you behave is genuinely tedious and annoying, not charming or witty as you might be hoping to convince yourself. Trolling is not really your strength. You try super hard with results that are super underwhelming. Youre not good at it, and it's sort of an awkward thing to force. This is dead ass honest advice. I would look for a different approach. Just be genuine and relaxed. If people clown you just give em a "yeah, yeah" and maybe a single retort and move on. Your current approach where you beef with people across multiple threads and start mess in order to engage people for attention... it's just a bad look. Warriorfan, Chewing, whoever... these guys are funnier than you. You might have strengths that they dont, but not this. Youre provoking people on terms that are disadvantageous for you. And I think taking those unnecessary, self-inflicted L's over and over is bad for your mental health. I know it's lonely sometimes to go for periods of time without being the center of attention, but I feel like humiliating yourself to get attention does more damage in the long run. So I would look to change course.

So anyway the point is altho I dont care for you personally, I dont wish you misery. I hope somehow you can find a positive outcome. Just like I hope that for Delivery Carrington.

Well yeah, I guess it would be better phrased as I dont care for the persona you cut on ISH. It is genuinely grating on the nerves, and not in a "but Id miss it if it were gone" way. I dont miss it at all when you arent posting, because of the way you post.

The WNBA is such a joke. I just saw the first round is best of 3 and the first 2 games are the top seed at home. In other words, lose both of them as the road team and you don't even get to see a single home playoff game in the postseason.

To add to this, I saw someone on social media mention something else. If the team with home advantage loses one of their home games then the deciding game is played at the lower seeds arena. So the team with home advantage plays the crunch game on the road. They'll no doubt change this for next season but what a farce that is.
