It's why I always root for Philly players but the never the team, those guys always get f'd. This was the guy that really elevated the Warriors into a dynasty

Iggy never had much ability to begin with.

lets focus on that first.

I gave up this. I gave up that. blah blah............

In return, he got FMVP win without ROY, MVP, DPOY etc etc.

That says something.....

You sacrificed for championship and dynasty. God rewarded you back with FMVP.

I heard that...unbelievable in the 2000s, the 76ers does not have a training facility

they put an effing ball thru an effing basket.

How hard that can be.

In return, they make millions just for this silly job.

But the attitude they got is like they are doing some brain surgery under intense pressure of getting malpractice lawsuit if they make a mistake. and patient dies.

I get a kick out of the average Joe fan that can’t hide the envy they have for pro athletes that get paid. Your whole existence is chasing the dollar. Some (not all) complain because you want to get paid more and work less. The fact you size up a basketball player as just someone who puts the ball in a hoop for a lot of money shouldn’t have any complaints/issues. Try using some perspective and spinning the same ridiculous argument your way. Someone with a job that pays 1/2 of what you make. Someone that is unemployed and can’t find a job. Someone that is homeless. They all could tell you to stfu the moment you complain. Does that make your complaints less valid? No. So what is your jealous and envious ass saying? That you wish you were a little bit taller, you wish you were a baller, you wish you had a girl that looked good so you could call her?

Did you watch the video? Iggy makes good points about the politics of the game and frankly I'm tired of blaming players for an organizations incompetence. Before the 76ers decided to tank the team to get draft picks they had Iggy, Lou Williams, and J'Rue Holiday tjree of the most selfless glue guys in the league. If that organization wasn't filled with boobs and dullards they could have also had Reddick and Butler on that lineup and you would have gotten stars.

This guy lost hundreds of millions of dollars and a hall of fame spot taking a different role and establishing a dynasty...the last dynasty in the NBA.

be respectful

This guy lost hundreds of millions of dollars and a hall of fame spot taking a different role and establishing a dynasty...the last dynasty in the NBA. Not arguing with the rest of what you said, just this part. The idea that a guy that could average 17 or whatever on a bad team is "sacrificing " when he becomes a roleplayer in a contender is overblown. Iggy is a smart guy, one of the smartest ofc the court of his generation. He made a lot of money, both in NBA contracts a well as business deals that were almost certainly aided by him being part of an NBA dynasty. Just on the court he earned 189 mil, and that was made before the current hyperinflatef era. If Derek Fisher averages 15 points playing his whole career in Charlotte no one would know who he was. I'm not sure we've ever seen an example of a fit that could have had the max on one team but gave up more than like a third of that money to win a ring. But I bet the guys that do give up a few dollars on the NBA contract to win a championship make it up in other ways.

I doubt that anyone on the current Celtics is sacrificing anything.
