That's really cheap for him

Last season he averaged 6 points and 3.5 boards. Maybe he is capable of more getting those stats on a bad team his contract is unlikely to be big.

He's one of those players who are better than the stats say. High IQ player who can defend and bring some playmaking. Only problem is he is a liability as a scorer, he can't shoot beyond 10 feet and his athleticism is below average.

I personally thought the Warriors would try to add more athleticism.

Big loss for the Wolves. They needed high IQ players especially being that their starting frontcourt is extremely low IQ.

Luckily the Spurs are signing high IQ guys like CP3

Looks like they are trying to get Buddy also. I'm intrigued what this team looks like next season.

Thoughts?

Saw Slo-Mo play IRL in the Dubai game; this idea that he embodies the Spurs/Popovich fundamentals is overstated. He seemed below average on both sides of the floor. Made a number of gaffes.

Didn't see him having any particular impact on the Timberwolves.

His feud with Gobert in the prior year's playoffs shows that despite him being older, he doesn't really bring any kind of maturity or professionalism to the team.

Mike Dunleavy, the Warriors GM, has made a series of bad moves. First, he gave Poole away for nothing when he had considerable trade value (for Chris Paul who was just released). Now he sleeps on getting a productive big man who can set screens and open up offense (like they've always had before : from Bogut to Zaza) and gets a meaningless addition.
