Gary Trent Jr? Tyus Jones? Isaac Okoro? All 3 would be solid imo with the full MLE available and fully capable of starting. They would still have D'lo/Rui/Vincent/2 FRPs/a couple rookies available for trade elsewhere for another starter (then Reaves can become 6th man). You want depth, and full MLE would maximize that depth.

People say Bron can't gain anything by winning another ring, but I disagree.

It's based on the idea that Bron is consensus number 2 behind MJ. He's not. He won't pass MJ, that is true, but there are still guys you can argue over him, and if he got more rings or at least contending moments, I think that would do well for him.

As of now, he's basically a garbage time stat padder on a trash team. I don't understand why he is OK with that, but I think he wanted to make the son thing happen. If he had gone to OKC, that would have been nuts. I think his son probably didn't get that much time to spend with Bron in his life, and he might grow to hate him if dude is always breathing down his neck. Otoh, if he can help develop his son into a serviceable player ( dude is 6'1 without pg skills,) that might do something for his reputation, but it's not gonna do well for his legacy.
