Beal wasn't the one I was thinking of...but in the subject of Beal I don't think anyone was saying it was a good deal, just that it wasn't going to doom the Wizards. And they did manage to get rid of him for some low level assets. So if you don't care about the money wasted it wasn't bad for Washington.

But it may be bad for Phoenix. Washington can hand out a no trade clause because they're an easy team to leave. If it Phoenix wants to send him to a bad team there's a good chance he says no.

He's a huge talent and even if he supposedly had a dissapointing year, then you have to give that contract.

He's a big and strong playmaking wing, who has shown he can win at the highest stage (World Champion).

Never going to be a Luka or Lebron, but definitely will be a PG level talent.
