Day 1 starter, and ROY?

I guess we have learned that Lebronic taint is a helluva drug, and should be considered to be the equivalent of a Schedule 1 narcotic.

He was drafted in the 2nd round, yet was 1/3 as productive as one of his college teammates that went undrafted. However, his father is LeBron James. If he is a Day 1 starter, I will assume a few things:

1) LBJ appears to be asserting his influence.

2) JJ Redick is merely a figurehead that is following orders from someone that has prioritized "basketball reasons" into the decision making process.

3) The Lakers are not to be taken seriously as a competitive team as much as they will be entertainers.

As for becoming the next ROY, that is not a delusion the rest of the league has any obligation to participate in.

The way things are shaping up, the next two years can't go by fast enough.
