I am not saying that this is wrong. (https://www.nba.com/watch/video/tyrese-maxey-honored-by-76ers) Just...weird. Maybe I've just not noticed before but is this kind of thing common?

A cynical person would say this was all done to impress Rich Paul more than Maxey.
Maxey's deal is done, regular business with Klutch is going to continue forever.
Great presentation tho.
It was more of a presentation than a Hall of Fame. Or even an exhibit for the public for view. Just something to add with the extension they gave Maxey showing appreciation. If there’s anyone worthy of it? It would be him. From him crying his eyes out going late first rd to Sixers to his work ethic being top notch to his improvement. The knocks on his game he has improved on since being drafted. He's had some big moments for the franchise. And the city loves him because not only does he do a lot for the city blue has a likable personality. I don’t think it was weird. Now if he got a statue outside training facility like AI did a few months ago? Then yeah.
Off topic I hope sixers bring back black jerseys. I heard them showing Maxey doesn’t mean they will but man reconsider.
He robbed the mip award when he isn't even that special.

This is ****ing stupid.
Haha, yeah, the personal Hall of Fame thing is a bit unusual. But I think it's a nice gesture by the Sixers to show their appreciation for Maxey's hard work and dedication. He's definitely a fan favorite in Philly. And who knows, maybe it'll become a new trend in the NBA
This is ****ing stupid.
