Injured ass Kawhi who drops out right before the event. Durant might end up going the same way.

Joel Embiid fouling out of a game in 12 minutes of play.

Steph Curry ZERO Olympic experience.

Like who tf is this rag tag group of assorted Nobodies? Where are the healthy, experienced players? That's what the rest of the world is bringing. While once again Bron is left with an empty cupboard and has to bear the weight of the world on his damn shoulders, tryin to make chicken salad out of chicken shit.

Why wasnt Bronny selected for this team?

The whole program is junk.

Is it true that Lebron, KD and Curry only beat a team led by Dillon Brooks by 14 points?... Does everyone see how much Lebron's ball-dominance hurts chemistry and therefore the performance-level of the cast/team?.. His brand of ball routinely underperforms favored talent, such as losing with preseason favorites or falling to underdog for 6 straight years (11-16'), except the Allen miracle.

LeBron's hold time was very minimal lol

His presence on the floor makes guys stand around because he's such a bad off-ball player and bad assist target due to lack of expert jumpshooting skill and instinct to play off teammtes - he isn't accustomed to having a high assisted rate so he hurts any attempt to move the ball or play an elite brand of ball - I guarantee that he will be benched for stretches if the games get real tight - bookmark this post..

Ultimately, high-scoring ball-dominators like Luka, Lebron, SGA, Westbrook or Harden lower their teammates assists (play-making) and increase their assisted rate (play-finishing), so it's statistical fact that they turn teammates into spot-up shooter - this imposition of spot-up roles and "down-hill" skillset isn't 5-man basketball, which prevents great chemistry/fits, thereby preventing a great-performing cast, aka great team/dynasty..

The worst part is that when 1 guy hogs the assists and lowers teammates' assists, the TEAM has low assists - all the aforementioned high-scoring ball-dominators have low-assist teams and get destroyed by the top teams in the playoffs - every playoff loss that Lebron had in the last 10 years shows massive deficits in team assists.

Being turned into a spot up shooter is better than being turned into a traffic cone by a player who doesnt give up the ball at all.

Expert jumpshooters like Curry and MJ play off-the-ball and score quickly upon the catch - they are big assist targets for teammates and therefore facilitate ball movement and higher team assists, while Lebron's ball-dominance kills ball movement and hogs the assists for himself (low team assists).

High-scoring ball-dominators like Luka and Lebron impose spot-up roles, so they have weak fits and chemistry, thereby needing more help/talent.. Yet they still mostly lose and aren't capable of having a stretch of mostly winning regardless of cast... i.e. curry won 4 in 6 years or mj won 6 in 7, while lebron mostly loses with every cast, which means he's objectively inferior to guys like Duncan (3 in 5) or Jordan (6 in 7) that proved they can have stretches of mostly winning with a cast.

Sorry but Pippen was the Bulls' playmaker.

Sorry but Pippen was the Bulls' playmaker.

So why did Jordan lead the Bulls in assists for 6 of 9 playoff runs alongside Pippen, which included 3 title runs (91', 93', 97')

If the Bulls needed elite assists and playmaking - MJ was the only option... Only MJ could average 8-12 APG if needed, while Pippen lacked a breakdown handle to trick defenses and toss times, so he mostly swung the ball from one side to the other or played in transition.

Every 1st option enjoyed an all-time playmaker at sidekick that could average 10+ assists like Stockton, KJ, Payton or Hardaway, while MJ had to suffer with Pippen's 5 assists per game.. Accordingly, among notable 90s sidekicks, Pippen had the worst passing, efficiency/spacing, clutch, or peak capability (not on scouting report according to Shaq).

This is common knowledge... Btw, when MJ was forced to start at point guard suddenly in 1989 for 25 games, he was instantly a 30/10/10 during this stretch despite being a 1st time point guard at 26 years old - the media proclaimed him the best PG in the league after just a few games at the position.. This is googlable fact.. That's goat talent for the game of basketball.. Then MJ averaged 11 APG in the 91' Finals, which was the first time someone averaged 10+ in a series without starting at PG or being named Magic or Cousy.

It's crazy that MJ defeated max defensive attention (carried scoring load), while also leading the team in passing and getting the same or more DPOY votes than Pippen for 7 of 9 seasons.

Yeah but he was 1-9 without Pippen.

everyone in history needed many all-star teammates, whereas you're punishing MJ winning with the first all-star he ever received and never needing another one... MJ was unbeatable the instant he got 1 all-star, while Lebron mostly lost with 2 all-stars (or 1).

people forget that curry won 4 chips in 6 years, or Duncan won 3 in 5, or Jordan won 6 in 7, but Lebron never had a stretch of mostly winning with any cast, and therefore mostly loses with every cast.. Since he mostly loses with every cast, he's inferior to guys that proved they can mostly win with a cast.. 21 years confirms that he isn't capable of a 3-peat, 70 wins or dynasty, aka objectively inferior to MJ (and others).

And regarding sidekicks, we aren't talking about an elite producer like Kareem here - we're talking about the biggest bricklayer and lane-clogger in playoff history (see previous post).. So MJ won titles and MVP without spacing, while Lebron only won 45 games in 2008 and needed all-star spacing to win 60 and be MVP in 2009.. Lebron always needed all-star spacers like Mo, Allen, Korver or D-Lo, while MJ never had any all-star spacers or sidekicks that made the Finals without him like Wade or Kyrie.

US will win easily as long as they have Curry and AD.
