He’s the funniest and best storytelling ex athlete. He rips on himself all the time so he isn’t one of those delusional types. And he was in the league as recently as 2001. He’s played with or against virtually all the best players in the league right now.
If Amazon wants to make themselves the new TNT, they put him in the Barkley role with a young straight man he can grow chemistry with. Don’t need Draymond. Teague, a new Ernie type straight man, and a student of the game type former player. If they just insist on a legacy type, give him Kevin Garnett and leave Paul Pierce at home. That would be an almost distracting amount of personality, but the right straight man could make it work.
