Good low-risk high-reward signing.

You forgot Derrick Jones Jr, who was a starter.
But I agree they potentially got better. However names dont win games. Everyone has to mesh and prove they can play collectively at a high level.

Yeah for sure a low risk, high reward. He played well in Dallas last go-round but really seemed like he gave up the last couple years. He finished his stint in Brooklyn dreadfully and was just as bad on the Lakers (though barely got minutes).
Mavs have a really, really well-rounded and nice team now.

They should be a factor but there will be 4 teams that can win the West next season. Denver, OKC, Minnesota and Dallas could all take it depending on matchup and luck. Dallas might be a better team next year yet end up with worse results.

I like the signing.
My guess is that they have Hardy and Dinwiddie battling for first of the bench at guard, then if Dinwiddie finds his old form, they try to trade Hardy at the deadline for some weakness in their roster.
Grimes and Marshall could be great or could be mid or even busts. If Mavs could get someone like Dorian Finney-Smith back for one of grimes/marshall and hardy, then you make that trade.

Good pickup
